Intimate setting with spectacular jazz music. Recommend researching acts before buying tickets and be prepared to stand in line before the show. First come first serve for best seating. Food and drinks aren't great but the atmosphere and music more than make up for it.
Absolutely fantastic! I can't believe that we haven't been sooner! We've known about Blue Alley for years, but never got around to going, until now! The club is small, which means every table has a good seat, close to the show. The sound and the lightning, and this time of year, the Christmas decorations, were fantastic, but the real surprise was how good the food was. I hadn't expected to get a good quality Cajun meal with my show, and that was a nice surprise....
Where you sit in the room will define your experience. As you arrive the host may try to persuade you to take a table on the upper level for the "elevated view." Ignore this suggestion as you will be forced to listen to the very loud mechanical noises from the antique ice machine behind the bar instead of the music. Get as close to the stage as possible to enjoy a true listening room ambiance with less whirring and clanking.
