We had breakfast here on our second day in Washington and really enjoyed it. The food is really delicious and I especially recommend the chai latte. Definitely the best I've ever had. We were served by Sascha, a very friendly and lovely waiter. We would love to come back anytime!

Came here this morning (June 13) with a friend and our babies, a black woman gave us a table but she didn’t like the fact that we came in with the strollers, she took out two chairs so we could fit better but she looked very upset. When she was sitting other people she was always looking at our table and making noises like annoyed, I guess she didn’t want us to be there and was hopping we could just leave soon so she could sit other people on our table. We didn’t feel comfortable so we just asked to put our drinks to go (we were drinking our coffee already) we decided to grab lunch somewhere else and just left. Having the coffee shop right next to the library and feel upset because people came in with our babies and strollers?? Very rude lady!! You should feel ashamed for treating people like this!!

Love this spot! The staff is wonderful- Sascha remembers our weekly order and greets us with a smile. The windows let in so much natural light and the food is delicious and quick. Their chili egg scramble and big brekkie are favorites.

Nice breakfast options, plenty of different coffee choices as well. Outside was little loud with the traffic. Also service was little rude.

this was my first visit to this cafe, and it was wonderful! the food was divine and the chai latte i had was delicious. the overall atmosphere was comfortable and clean, with lots of natural light. the staff were kind and polite, overall a great experience.

Today was my first time at Bluestone Cafe and I went to the West End/Library location. It was fantastic. It's not like any other cafe in town. The Australian influenced menu is unique and absolutely delicious. We had the Avocado Smash, the BLATE sandwich and the Brisket Sandwich. You will love each of these. The brewed coffee is the best I have tasted. Just delicious. Our server, Merlin, was attentive and answered all of our questions about both the drink menu and the food menu. The atmosphere has a cool Australian vibe - it is so great.

Bluestone is overall pretty good, a great option for brunch. I love their drinks, their lemon ricotta pancakes, and the savory breakfast options. The lunch menu is disappointing here, especially since other Bluestone locations have great lunch options (Boston). I also think the price is probably a little too steep for me to be a regular, but for a chat and sit down the ambience and view is lovely on a sunny day.
