Fabulous meal and great service. Had the calves liver and can definitely recommend!Espresso was not great but an acceptable coffee. Did not significantly detract from the meal but I'd like to see improvement.
My boyfriend and I dined in to celebrate our two year anniversary. We were blown away with the service, from check in through the moment we left. The host stand was efficient and organized, and even gave us menus that said, “Happy Anniversary!”. We dined with David, who is clearly a seasoned professional. Ris is a welcome change for fine dining in the Nation’s Capital. Excellent fresh food and customer service. While DC has experienced a restaurant boom it’s wonderful to have a place with a great variety of simply prepared fresh food without unnecessary sauces and frills that add nothing to the taste. The fact that it’s owned by a woman is the cherry on top.
