First time in and we loved it and the overall concept. Unique setup offering plenty of seating and an abundance of board games, while decorated with vintage games throughout the place. Our bartender was friendly and very efficient, the beer selection was solid and the vibe was just right. We only stopped in for a couple drinks, but we’ll definitely be back!

I went to this place years ago (maybe when they first opened). Went again 2 weeks ago and yikes. Though the bartender was attentive and very welcoming... we came for the board games! Missing pieces to almost all the games making them unplayable defeats the purpose of the theme of the bar. Also I was younger then. At 40+ years old, it was much too loud for me.

Great place to hang out with friends in DC. A lot of board game selections. They also have a water station where you can fill up on your own whenever you needed. Very convenient.

Such a fun place to be! Lots of game options, $3 per game rental after 7pm. Great environment to chat & play games!

On Saturday, August 30th, at approximately 8:30 PM, I visited your bar with a group of friends. We were initially having a great time playing games and enjoying the atmosphere.
However, when one of my friends ordered an amaretto sour at the bar, the manager on duty identified by the doorman as Eddie was the bartender serving us. After my friend did not leave a tip, he proceeded to call her a “cunt.”
I understand that bartenders often expect tips, but tips are not required. Resorting to derogatory and offensive name-calling toward a guest is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and ruined our overall experience.

Love the board room. They had a lot of fun & unique games. They don't serve food at this location but you can bring in food. Decent prices for happy hour (until 7p)

We go to the one in Arlington and love it. Never been carded as I don’t drink when I’m here. Went to this one and they treat it like a club, couldn’t get in without an ID… to play games…for 12 and up… I will just stick to Arlington.

Love the concept! They have a wide array and board games, draft beers and ciders, cocktails, and tables and chairs. It’s a great place to get competitive with old friends or break the ice with people you’ve just met.

Absolutely Disgusting Service – Never Coming Back
This bar might look cool from the outside, but don’t let that fool you — the experience was terrible. The bartender was shockingly rude, completely unprofessional, and acted like he was doing us a favor by even acknowledging our presence. Zero friendliness, zero manners, just straight-up attitude.
Honestly, I’ve never been treated with such disrespect at any bar in my life. I kept thinking: Would he be okay if someone treated his own mother the way he treated us? Because that’s exactly how bad it was.
The whole experience was ruined because of him. It’s beyond unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs — unless you enjoy being disrespected for no reason. I wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone.
