I absolutely love Bonkers! I keep coming back for the cold noodles and wontons! I agree the Chinese burgers fall short of their potential but just get anything else on the menu! Very authentic feel and smell to a comparable spot in China. Definitely a place i could eat at everyday. Love that dc is finally getting authentic Chinese in Chinatown!

I recently visited Bonkers's Chinese Burger with a mixed group: myself, a seeker of hyper-authentic Chinese flavors, and my friends, who are visiting from out of town and eager for a fun, new experience. Our takeaways were completely different, which perfectly highlights the identity of this place.

Great food! We wasn’t really starving and two of us shared the default dry hot pot together- really liked the chicken and the well sauced cabbages. I think the owner should consider changing the labels of “Chinese burger” to something else, cause burger sounds greasy which is not how the 肉夹馍 tastes at all

My phone died and the owner helped to charge my phone - a big thank you!!
