Interesting upstairs bar that also hosts salsa meringe lessons and has pop art for sale right off the walls...drinks are good service good and food is provided by the chinese restaurant below...nice shareable portions
The salsa dancing event was not air conditions as promised in the event flyer. It was beyond uncomfortably hot and more expensive than usual. $20 is too much to pay for zero air conditioning on a 96 degree day.Also, the salsa music was playing, but sometimes there is a dance group dancing casino rueda, that takes over the dance floor, making social dancing difficult and not enjoyable.

I came to 618 on a Friday night to enjoy the salsa + bachata night with a few coworkers.Cover was $20 at the door - we weren't prepared for this since it was all our first times trying this spot out. Fortunately, we had a good time throughout the night so didn't end up missing the cash.As soon as I walked in I felt the music and good vibes booming throughout the space. There was a pretty nice sized crowd throughout the bar, some dancing and some hanging at the bar enjoying drinks....read full review
