About Bread Furst Vradenburg Cafe

Bread Furst Vradenburg Cafe is a great little café inside The Phillips Collection. It offers plenty of bread, baked goods, desserts, and hot beverage options. The menu has a great variety of food and beverages for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, with fair prices considering the museum location. Guests enjoy items such as the smoked salmon sandwich, quiche and salad, a machiatto, chocolate hazelnut ganache, and a cup of coffee with an oatmeal cherry cookie. The service is nice and fast, even when the café is busy. The inside is nicely air conditioned, and the outdoor patio is nice even on a very hot day, with plenty of shade from patio umbrellas. The tables are arranged with little cherry potted plants, creating a refreshing and relaxing setting. There is also a beautiful quiet garden in the back, one of the more serene places you can find. The bread and coffee are European quality, and the current Google Maps rating does not reflect how good this place actually is.

Had lunch today at Bread Furst’s @ The Phillips Collection. It was quite nice, not too busy, food was excellent ( I enjoyed the smoked salmon sandwich, my friend enjoyed their quiche & salad), service was nice too. The way the tables are arranged, with the little cheerry potted plants on each table was so nice. Refreshing and relaxing.
I just get bread from here but it’s fresh and amazing. You can get to the cafe without necessarily buying a ticket to the museum.
Not sure who left the low ratings here, but this is one of my favorite places in town. It’s a rare spot in a perfect location, with a beautiful quiet garden in the back, friendly staff, and really high-quality food and coffee. Their bread and coffee are European quality, so it’s no surprise it costs a bit more than the average place. It’s still a reasonable price for a lunch. The menu is great whether you’re coming for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. In my opinion, the current...read full review
