An easy choice for a casual brunch with family (littles included). Welcoming staff, good drinks and food fills the soul. Glad we had the opportunity to stop by.

Visiting the DC area?this is the place to go for the best food and cocktails. Classic cocktails that are made to exacting standards and perfectly balanced. The wait staff and bartenders delivered a perfect experience that I have to share with all others. The Bourbon Old Fashion and Manhattan on their craft list is a must try. We also had one of the appetizers to start and the Catfish entree was the best I ever had. I highly recommend this place to all. I will be back to try more on the menu. The name says it all “ Brookland’s Finest”. Thank you to all.

It's a really great place. The service can be a little slow sometimes but it's never been an issue. Everyone is super nice and it has the vibe of a great neighborhood restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's wheelchair accessible but the ramp is really narrow and the front door is very heavy.

Not neighborly, the owner standing by the door stared us down and ignored us and was not welcoming (we're an interracial, queer couple) and the rest. completely ignored our concerns around the level of crowdedness and wasn't willing to accommodate even with a half empty floor.

We had a 2-person reservation and asked to not be seated in the middle of the floor due to higher COVID rates and the restaurant management didn’t seem to care (immediately said no), even with a half empty floor. We pointed out a couple of alternatives and they said they wanted to keep those options open for 4-person parties. Understood that that meant that they were prioritizing their profit margin over our dining experience. This coupled with the distinct treatment from the owner, left me pretty uncomfortable. The burger was ok but not worth the discomfort at all.

Great place to experience high end prices with standard diner fare and flavor

Solid beer list, good whiskey selection and a good burger. Excellent vegetarian options. Great service.

Horrible. This place is absolutely ridiculous. I ordered a "muffaletta" for $19 - it had about 10 specs of olives on each side of the bun. The sandwich was obscenely thin and sad. We were one of the few people in the restaurant and the service was so slow. The high prices for the sad "food" and service is ridiculous. So frustrated I wasted my time here when I could have gone to a McDonalds and had a better experience.

Brought my parents from out of town and had a lovely meal. Stand out for me, though, was the *incredible* cocktail. Tiki-inspired cocktail list and a very skilled bartender.

We come here for the food, drinks, and atmosphere. It's always a great vibe whether it is 3pm on a Saturday or 9pm on a Friday. The food is cooked well and served in large portions. The service is friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommend whether you're wanting some time alone or going with a group of people.

It's a wonderful spot to dine. They graciously accommodated my large family. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We sat inside but there was the option to sit outside. When I am in DC again, I will go back.
