Great atmosphere. Excellent drinks. Good good but not the best stop if you're hungry.Must have: spicy pork ragu (it's a pasta dish, cavatelli)If it's your taste: bacon steak. It's actually a piece of pork belly, with interesting sideTake it or leave it: smoked catfish hushpuppiesAvoid: strawberry salad, delicious strawberries, but a very plain salad otherwiseCouldn't tell the difference in size between Middle of the road and Large

This place is amazing. I truly enjoy coming here to eat. I highly recommend the tavern steak for dinner and the spicy cheese for the appetizer.

Ordered for a pick up and delivery and they missed my order. My latte never arrived and when I called the girl on the phone said you can come pick it up. Why would I want to pick it up if I ordered through a delivery system??? Maybe she wasn’t using all parts of her god given brain.

Nice place to gather and have a few drinks before heading out for dinner.

I had the special St Valentine's Afternoon Tea service and enjoyed it very much. It's a great combination of environment, ambience and quality of food and tea. I like their non traditional interpretation on afternoon tea and that there was a nice balance between savory & sweet bites. More often than not afternoon teas tend to lean more towards sweet bites. I think because it was holiday special it was $65/pp included nicer items such as oysters, beef tartare, roe and (verse simple stuff like cucumber sandwiches and mini quiches etc.) and included a glass of Prosecco. The cost was pricey and I wish it include a few more bites (there was 12 total, with no repeats) but I'd say cost to value it's on par (if not a little higher) with other DC hotels Afternoon Tea service that includes a glass of alcohol.Bites included (from memory):- Two oysters- Beef tartare with salmon roe (my favorite)- Asian pear Camembert cheese and honey- Smoked salmon with whipped herbed cheese- pappadam crisp (my favorite)- a smoke fish salad on crisp- mini chocolate caramel tarte- olive oil & something cake-sugar coated grapes- cheese filled date with honey (not pictured)- French macron- coco flan type dessert. This was out of place being usually large and dense (I took it to go).

My party had afternoon tea at Brothers and Sisters. Both the savory and sweet selections were delicious. Since there is no set menu, here are some examples of the dishes we received: raw oysters, beef tartare, salmon with creme fraiche, goat cheese stuffed dates, raspberry macaroons, chocolate tarts, apple with camembert bites, sugar-coated grapes, chocolate cake topped with flan, and lemon cake. The drinks were inventive with fun names. The wait staff could have been more attentive.

Christmas dinner duck feast was outstanding, and the staff was so kind to accommodate a last minute scheduling change to ensure the holiday was special. Will definitely come back

I'm giving 1 star for poor business practices. On Dec 19, I made a reservation for Dec 27th. I showed up at my reservation time, and the staff said that they were shut down for in-person dining, both indoor and outdoor. They did not notify me in advance that my reservation was canceled even though my reservation was confirmed in Resy. The restaurant did not take any responsibility for this problem and was more defensive than anything. If you want to patronize a restaurant that is a true business, pick a place like Tiger Fork instead of this place. We made a reservation at Tiger Fork once, and they had to cancel our reservation due to inclement weather, but they called us to let us know and to reschedule. That is what a real restaurant does: respects their customers. Please go somewhere else, not here.

Enjoyed Brothers And Sisters here at The Line Hotel. Our son's wedding was up above the dining area. The staff was very attentive to our party. They were polite and of course they had masks on. We will definitely be back for dinner. Food was delicious, wonderful experience.

I come to eat for the first time after so many good reviews, but I was really disappointed the service was bad I wait at the host for like 10 min. Food was ok desserts was awful they recommend me the broklyn cocoa banana and it was just a big pice of cake it looks like from a box with a sweet frosting on top. Pastry chef has to do a better job.Anyway, good luck trying this place.

Great service and ambiance. The dishes are playful and well- thought out. Also greatly appreciate that staff is knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and the kitchen is willing to accommodate. One star off because they have a shared fryer, which is incredibly common but a deal breaker for folks like me that cannot have gluten for medical reasons.

Really good food! Good cocktails. Good vibes. A bit loud but that's what you get in hip spots. Would recommend.

Hosted a birthday dinner here for six people. While the food was...OK (good but not great), the service was a bit erratic. They seem to be all over the place; insisted — despite telling us otherwise over the phone — that we couldn’t cut our own birthday cake, and had to pay $5 per slice (!!) for them to do so. Not a huge deal but kind of a scam to say they’d only charge us if we wanted them to cut it for us, then actively block us from doing what they had said we could do. $30 for cutting a $90 cake is really dodgy. Wouldn’t go back despite a cool location and nice vibe.

Awesome music and vibe. Really well seasoned and cooked food. Steak was a perfect medium and the chimichurri wasn't overpowering. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit!
