Stop in today on a Sunday with my beautiful lady. I was immediately greeted which was nice. My server/bartender Shanita was great. I even met the owner Grant.. very friendly people here. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, fries and Mac n cheese 🧀. Everything was good, my girl loved the food and the music was a vibe. I would definitely recommend visiting this spot if you I the area. Although, we both doing dry January the drink prices are very reasonable compared to most places in DC. Had a great time.

Went for music bingo and it was shockingly good. I really liked the dj. I wish I got her handle but it was too long for me to keep up. I had the fried fish and it was pretty perfect and didn't have a bunch of grease which was great. I can tell they put care into cleaning their grease instead of cutting corners. The drinks were great as well. I think they have the musical bingo only twice a week. The servers were great as well. Brought me a chair from outside almost as soon as I said I needed another chair. Food came out quick as well. I didn't see any reason to complain

I absolutely love Buddy’s! It’s the perfect sports bar-there’s always a game on, but what really sets it apart is how well they manage the atmosphere. As someone who can sometimes get anxious in loud places, I really appreciate that the volume is always under control.
Beyond the great service, friendly staff, and consistently good food, what makes Buddy’s special to me is how much they genuinely invest in the community. You can feel it-this isn’t just a bar, it’s a local hub. I’ve seen golfers, runners, historic frats, dog lovers, and even small business pop-ups all come through here. Everyone’s welcome, and that’s what makes it such a gem.

I love this bar and my favorite bartender, Brenda is here. The food is amazing hot and on time or cold at home. If there is a festival, and I know there are a few throughout the year, an early seat is essential. The avocado Caesar is my absolute favorite, but I also like the old bay wings. The loaded fries with crab or beef with the gumbo is my fall combo. The Modern Interpretation of Luxury has consistently been my favorite drink. For the colder months my favorite combo is the loaded fries with crab and the gumbo.

Our Norfolk State University Washington, D.C. Alumni Chapter recently hosted our Membership Drive at Buddy’s Bar, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, everything was top-notch.
Grant who is one of the owners, was incredibly hospitable and made sure our group felt right at home. The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and kept the energy high all evening. Our members absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere (which I knew they would!), and our custom signature drink was a big hit!
The entire team at Buddy’s made our event smooth, fun, and memorable. We’re already looking forward to hosting another Spartan event here in the future.

Buddy’s is one of the best additions to 11th Street! Every item on the menu is prepared to perfection. It’s one of our favorite places for football season. Bingo on Wednesdays is a must as well. The service is above and beyond what you might expect from a bar, it feels like home only someone else has prepared all the food and drinks 😉 Can’t wait to get back for catfish bites and candied bacon

I had brunch on Sunday a few days ago and it was just outstanding. I went because of the games that where shown and the nice outdoor space but the highlight was the food. I had the polenta grits with shrimp, crab and sausage and I really loved it. Great experience all around!
