The place isn't the most appealing, but their food is great! I have lived in the immediate neighborhood (DC native born and raised otherwise) for about 2.5 years and only started going here last year off of a bartender's recommendation as what he called "the best fried chicken" when it came to ordering out. I doubted him, I did.Now, I won't say it was the BEST, but it certainly was some real good fried chicken. And the pieces were great sizes. I always get dark meat, if that matters. Burgers, onion rings, and their biscuits are fantastic as well. When I did order burgers, always the Mushroom Swiss. But I haven't gotten anything but fried chicken there since last summer, so I can't say much about it today?I must note, within the past few months, I've noticed their fried chicken is consistently smaller than they used to be. They taste fine still, but due to being significantly smaller, they're not as juicy. I unfortunately don't find it to be as worthwhile for that anymore. Maybe I'll try their burgers again and see if that changed at all.
The chicken thigh was good until I got to the middle. It wasn't cooked fully. I hope I don't get sick. The rest of the food was good.

Food is fine, nothing amazing. Nowhere to sit. Tables are all roped off. No bathroom either. Not sure why. Workers were quiet and not super helpful.

I just received the most bland, tasteless chicken that I have ever eaten from here before. It was so unseasoned, it didn't even have a smell. The biscuits have been changed, were dry, they had no honey butter on them. This Krispy Krunchy Chicken used to have the tastiest fast food chicken on the market, it was my go-to, but it clearly has some serious quality issues lately or maybe new ownership has all their attention placed on their burger business at the same address instead. So disappointed, what a waste of money and calories! I won't be ordering from this location again!

I had walked past this restaurant for years but never thought about coming and and giving it a try, probably because I have never been quite that hungry at that moment. Today's visit was somewhat planned because I had a hankering for some real fried chicken. They have a huge sign on display which features thwir fried chicken. The first thing that I noticed when I walked through the door were the Cajun chicken tenders. Ot sounded delicious so I went for the 6 piece chicken tender meal. It included a biscuit but no fries or drink were included and they don't have a chicken tender combo meal persay. The price came out to be around $11.00. What I found less appealing about this rrstaurant is that the dining room section was closed off to the public, and there was no real indication as to why. There were tables turned upside down and brooms stowed in the corner for everyone to see. It kind of conjoured-up the feeling of those fried chicken and Chineese food restaurants that are all carry-out, and some even feature bars on the windows and doors. Everything else about this restaurant was modern including the menu board. The chicken tenders were great once I found a place to sit down outside.

I work fairly close to this location, and I had walked past it dozens of times. I never managed to have the time kr the hinger to go inside and the the place a try. The one thing that drew my attention to the restaurant was the huge sign in the fron featuring theor fried chicken. I happened to be in the mood for that today, so I figured why not. The menu was very modern and clear, and it listed all of their various meal options. The various tyoes of chicken were situated right there on the front ounter, and I was drawn to the Cajun chicken tenders. They looked super delicious, and I decided to get the 10 piece Cajun chicken tenders. The meal came with a biscuit but no fries or drink was included for the $11.00 price. Other burger combo options did in fact included fries and a drink. The inside of the restaurant was somewhat dissapointing because they actually have the seating area closed to the public, and for no apparent reason. I noticed tables and chairs stakced on top of each other without much care. You could also almost stumle over the broom and dustpan that was in plain view by the counter also. The restaurant sort-of reminded me of those fried chicken and Chineese carry out places you would find in Southeast DC, some which also feature bars on the windows and bullet-proof glass. The chicken was spot on, but one would be hard pressed to reccomend this place a great dining experience.
