I had walked past this restaurant for years but never thought about coming and and giving it a try, probably because I have never been quite that hungry at that moment. I work fairly close to this location, and I had walked past it dozens of times. I never managed to have the time kr the hinger to go inside and the the place a try. The one thing that drew my attention to the restaurant was the huge sign in the fron featuring theor fried chicken. I happened to be in the mood for that today, so I figured why not. The place isn't the most appealing, but their food is great! I have lived in the immediate neighborhood (DC native born and raised otherwise) for about 2.5 years and only started going here last year off of a bartender's recommendation as what he called "the best fried chicken" when it came to ordering out.
