A staple of DC and a can't miss for visitors and residents alike. The food has been incredible every time I've gone, and the staff are polite and professional. Great decor, music wasn't too loud, and food was ready very quickly. If you can catch an event, like a speaker or a slam poetry night, the vibes are off the charts. Plus the bookstore has a terrific selection.
I literally cannot say 1 bad thing about this place. Service was perfect. The food was great. I had the salmon poached eggs and a mint mocha coffee. Yum đŸ˜‹ Plus they have a bar and bookstore!
Busboys and Poets instantly became one of my favorite spots in DC. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a whole vibe. The space is filled with books, art, plants, and a strong sense of community and freedom. I loved how inclusive and welcoming it felt.
