We stopped in for lunch after a bit of sightseeing around the mall and were pleasantly impressed. Both the restaurant and hotel are tastefully decorated, and the festive touches truly captured the Christmas spirit without feeling overdone.
The staff were attentive and proactive, thoughtfully asking about allergies and carefully adhering to the instructions provided. This level of diligence was especially appreciated, as we’ve encountered challenges with this at other establishments in the area. Their professionalism did not go unnoticed.
The space itself strikes a lovely balance—beautifully styled, warm and homely, yet still open and spacious. The food was well presented and delivered on flavor. We sampled a few different dishes along with dessert, and each one was thoroughly enjoyable.
We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu soon.

Some of the steaks were tough and chewy. Bread was cold and hard.all food was warm and not hot.

Dirty glassware and a poorly poured Guinness kicked off the bad experience. The temporary dining room is way too loud, and the server tried to push back when I told him that my burger was over-cooked.
We had a lovely, delicious meal -- the spinach and feta pastry and the croque monsieur - -served by Tong, who was delightful.
Café du Parc is a very small and busy space, and to be fair, I was fortunate to find a seat thanks to another guest who was willing to share their table. Unfortunately, that sense of generosity did not extend to the service.
Ordering was purely transactional, with little warmth or engagement. When I asked whether another table might become available, I was told to sort it out myself. There was no attempt to assist or even acknowledge the request beyond that. The interaction felt efficient, but impersonal.
What stood out was the contrast with other experiences in Washington. Earlier that day, my visit to the U.S. Capitol Building was exemplary. Staff were welcoming, helpful, and attentive, despite it being a free public service. That comparison made the café experience feel particularly stark.
The atmosphere itself is pleasant enough, but the service felt distant and disengaged. A small amount of warmth or basic hospitality would have made a significant difference.

We had a wonderful experience here on Christmas Day and decided to go back primarily for the rib eye!! They took our order and came back unfortunately to say they'd run out of ribeye. They went over and above to make up for the disappointment and threw some freebies in for us. Excellent service! A real example of things may go wrong but it is the response to it that matters! Excellent evening by all standards. We will definitely go back, this time hopefully we will have our ribeye.
My family of flirt with two boys 7 and 9 loves the food and the overall vibe. We will come back when in the DC area. Worth the trip. Make a reservation on open table to ensure table as they get crowded and walk ins from hotel that is attached.
A lovely experience in entirety - great food, service and just right atmosphere for a casual evening!!

Fabulous food, beautifully decorated facilities and the service was on point! I'll be back every time I'm at the Willard
Food was very good and good presentation. Tables were too close to each other, hard to have conversation. For a beautiful hotel, restaurant appearance was a little disappointing. Place mats on tables were same as I have at home for everyday. Expected more elegance. Bathroom was not tended, overfull trash can, no paper towels. Soufiane our waiter was very attentive.
We had a wonderful time. Made reservations for 7pm and at 6:50pm we received a text saying our table was ready. Service was prompt and food was delicious. My husband had the steak frites and I had the Plat de Jour which was the special of the day and it was lobster, shrimp and vegetables in a French cream sauce. Absolutely delicious! Our waiter was very kind and sweet. He brought us a cream brûlée that was also soo good. Thank you for making our night special!

Everyone accommodated our group of 6 including 2 children very well. The kids' menu and coloring supplies were welcome.
We went to the Willard hotel and got coffee from this café there. Hot coffee was served at room temperature and was highly overpriced. The café didnt have any other items to order except for packet chips and few cookies and were out of everything else at 7.30pm. They got cookie order wrong as well and I had to go change it for chocolate flavor for my daughter who originally ordered chocolate. We will look at an alternate place to go next time to spend family time on Christmas. I was disappointed.
