On January 9th me and my siblings went there to celebrate our sister 21st birthday. Once we got seated a server came over and asked our sister who just turned 21 for id and claimed that she wasn’t 21 but she doesn’t have one yet and we told them that and they told her that she couldn’t be here without proof that she was 21 and that we had to leave but yet their were tables with literally little children sitting there way before she got there and after we left and not one server said anything to them.

I had a wonderful experience at Café 8. While the wings did not quite meet my expectations, the exceptional customer service more than made up for it. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the company I was with, and the hookah service.

He consistently refreshed the coals without being prompted, ensuring our experience remained seamless and enjoyable. Cafe 8 holds a special place in my heart because it reminds me of home. Everything is affordable, the food is good, and the drinks are strong and reasonably priced. The vibe is just nice and relaxed, not what you typically get in other parts of DC.
The people are relaxed, and the staff is helpful and really tries to cater to you. I have nothing bad to say about it! I’m so glad you all expanded and got the place next door. I hadn’t been in over a year, and when I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised.
You all know your customer base and exactly what we like to eat, drink, hear, and watch. I wish you much success, and I’ll be loyal to you as long as I’m living in Southeast!

It was a cool spot. They don’t accommodate hookah inside. Outside is full by the time you get there at 9pm … they don’t have a seating limit so if you want to join the littest part outside, because of the hookah and privacy fun you might as well not come. And don’t talk to management or the “host” cause that won’t make things happen any faster or at all for that matter. It’s high asf too. I got a shot of Tito’s it was 19.05 (tip included). But like I said cute spot.
