Nothing fancy but it gets the job done if you’re just hanging out to kill time. I wouldn’t purposely plan a date there or anything like that. The vibe was chill. Music was entertaining. Strong drinks and low prices. We didn’t order any food so can’t speak on it. Service was poor most of our time there but did get better once our server switched; unfortunately, we were ready to head out by then.

It was very dark when we walked in. The website said they had an happy hour and they didn't! It was a bucket on the floor full of old used napkins......very disgusting!! The only thing that was half way decent was the music. I doubt I will ever come back again.

Took a Lyft on Friday December 22nd from Hells Kitchen to Cafe 8 arrived at 2pm. The website says they open at 130pm yet we waited 30 min watching someone inside sweep the floors. We also called while we waited outside and nobody answered. They never even came to unlock the door so we had to catch another Lyft home back to Maryland. What a wasted trip and disappointment. You all need to update your hours or open on time. We can definitely won't be back.

Service is terrible. All the servers have an attitude. I've waited 20 minutes to order food. I've flagged down several servers. They served other people but told me to go to the bar. Will never come back here.

I have been a long time customer and tonight I was disrespected amongst other women. It was the same guy that was disrespectful and he has never been rude until tonight. I know they have a new boss but the boss was nicer than him. I asked to have the hookah until my Uber came, the boss said okay and this man was just super ugly and he did the same thing to another woman. It was very much I don’t like black people when all they service is black folk. But they were so rude and I don’t respect the behavior and I will come back and say something to the exact man who did it.
