There is no better Indian food for hungry people! They held and seated us, a 10 person party, until the end of the restaurant hours with cheer.
Reasonably priced for sharing food, and you’ll want to get a bit of everything. The crackling spinach has such a unique tamarind flavor, it is a must try.
We come here after a lot of our New Morning Farm farmer’s markets, and they never disappoint. Highly recommend!!

The food was amazing. I had the butter chicken but I asked for it to be made spicy ?️ and it was so good. Spicy but flavorful. The bartender also made my drink just how I wanted it. I definitely will be back soon. It’s very hard to find authentic food, so when I do I hold on to it.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in DC. I’ve been coming here regularly for almost 2 years now and have never had a bad meal. Their lunch special is honestly one of the best deals in all of DC and after trying many Indian restaurants around the DMV this one is definitely my favorite. The customer service is wonderful, they are so friendly and I always have a great experience. I’m surprised they aren’t packed everyday for lunch. Overall, this is just a great find and I highly recommend it!

Wow! Just wow! I have been to thousands of restaurants, from formal to fast food, and this set the bar for venues that strike a happy medium. The theme is so fitting for Indian food and inviting. It makes you forget about all of your worries. Moreover, the staff is welcoming and friendly. Where I would expect professionalism, they give compassion and understanding, they truly set the bar for what fine Indian dining should be. I highly recommend this for corporate gatherings, student club activities, and everything else! They deserve our utmost respect because my order was timely, they were quick to retrieve it, but most importantly, it was delicious. That means they took time for me and now we must take time for them. Keep it up and restaurant explorer... out!
