one of my bartending mentors and dc service industry legend Edy Silva works here. and that's reason enough to visit. Edy is the best high volume bartender i know and it is a marvel to watch him work. he is very friendly, knows all his guests by name-and most impressive remembers their drink of choice by heart. it's common to see guests in awe when Edy presents their next round without it needing to be repeated. if you want exceptional service from one of dc's best...
Cafe saint ex boom boom room is afrobeats, a little small and extremely hot but still fun, had a good time, but one of the security guys yelled at me, so yea they're a little mean.
It was an ok spot. A little weird of a set up but the bartender was super friendly. I honestly think they should have more seating are vs the two big hightops in the middle of the floor
