My family and I ate here during our stay in DC. I was excited to have some Caribbean food. However the Food was 6/10. Drinks were okay.
Service was really slow as they seemed short staffed. We had one person as the hostess, server and bartender so everything was really delayed.
The Dhalpuri Roti is too die for the chana peas are so delicious 😋 I love it the ox tail are seasoning too perfection along with the fall off the bone 😋 thank you for some good eats this is my favorite spot
The food is really good. But you lost me. Order the salt fish dish and the portion was ridiculous for $17 dollars. I got more bread than food. Not me again
Very good Trin food.
Amazing food and love the intimate feeling of this restaurant.
Stopped by Cane to pick up some small appetizer to go. The wings were great. They had a solid level of spice to them and went well with the rolls. In terms of Jerk wings in DC I would put them high on my list.
The food was delicious. The service was professional. The only problem is street parking.
The food here is amazing! I came here for the doubles. Had doubles in carribeans and have been craving for them. These are good, wouldn't say as good as the ones I had in OG place. But still very good. Other than doubles, got trini meat pie, oxtail bowl, jerk wings, and sweet plantains. Everything was so good. Trini meat pie was crispy, filled with meat and herbs, and packed with flavor. The oxtail bowl was tender and sweet. Jerk wings were too spicy for me...but my friend loved them. Sweet plantains were yum, can't ever go wrong with them.
One of my favorite restaurants. I’m obsessed with the jerk chicken wings and coconut rice and pickled veggies.
Food and drinks… absolutely amazing!

Everything from the drinks to the service to the Food was NEXT LEVEL. BEST ROTI I ever had!
Pricey, visually appealing slice of Caribbean fare. Highly recommend the sorrell!!!

The menu looked promising, but the food didn’t live up to expectations. We started with the jerk wings, which tasted more like vinegar than authentic jerk. The pepperpot was overpowered by allspice, drowning out other flavors, and the coconut rice lacked any coconut essence. The red snapper was bland, and overall, it felt like $122 wasted. Service was efficient but lacked the warmth of a true welcome island. In a city with so many options, this place is overpriced for what it delivers. Drinks were strong, but that's about the only highlight. High reviews make me wonder if they’re from non-Islanders – as Islanders ourselves, we wouldn’t recommend it.

The men are on the verge of prometedor, and the comedy does not come to the expectations of others. Employed with the alitas jerk, what SabÃan has a wine that jerks automatically. The pimienta is located at home for the pimienta of Jamaica, where there are soaps, and the coco is taken care of by the coco. The price range is limited to 122 dollars, in general. The service is efficient, often from the calibres of our household in Israel. There are many options available, and many different options are available to you. Las bebidas eran fuertes, pero ese es el único punto destacar. Las buenas crÃticas me hacen preguntarme si son de personas que no son de la isla; como isleños, no lo recomendarÃamos.

Really a 3.5, meal was decent but not the best Caribbean I’ve had in DC. The jerk wings were incredibly tender but some of flavor was swallowed up by the spice. The pork belly (geera pork) and oxtails were flavorful. The crispy kale was disappointing.
