Had a very good dinner at this restaurant. I was not familiar with the flavors from this cuisine; I thought the jerk chicken was spectacular (discounted also, for happy hour). Had really good pork ribs and pepper pot, both of them really great and recommeneded (in my opinion, ribs were the winner of the evening). Good cocktails, good service, nice atmosphere. Will be going back.

Went here for dinner the other night. We were seated at a booth. I believe Derek was out server, he was incredibly friendly and professional. We decided to get a few appetizers along with two entrees, and two desserts. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Highly recommend the jerk wings and Patty. The drinks were also good. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood and looking to for some good Caribbean food.

I’m a lover of Caribbean food and I have to say my first experience here at CANE was not great. It was an order to go and I didn’t look at the food until I got home. Well, my first indicator should have been the food came out in less than a minute; I questioned if it was pre packaged. I live within blocks and when I got home the food was room temperature; not hot at all. The Ox tails were a bit tough “ no falling of the bone “ and it was only 3; for the price point this was a bit expensive. I would have loved some sauce in the Ox tails to accompany the rice and I didn’t have that. I can complement the cooking and preparing of the coconut rice. Overall, it’s 2/5. The host Ibukun was very pleasant a nice tip was left.
Cane DC catered a private event for us at an offsite location. The owners went above and beyond to meet the hotel's requirements for outside caterers and really worked with us to ensure things ran smoothly the day of. The food was exquisite--the curated menu was varied, highlighting Caribbean dishes with a modern twist. Many of our guests asked for more information on the restaurant. The service was top-notch and no detail went unattended. I could not recommend Cane more highly. Kudos to the whole team!
