We arrived for my birthday brunch on time. We were seated, but nobody approached our table for over 15 minutes. I asked the hostess what was happening. She said they only had one person serving the entire restaurant. This, on a Sunday with peak Cherry Blossoms, a Nationals game, etc. After getting no further response, we left, having never been greeted, asked to be patient, offered a drink while we waited. Nothing. An extremely disappointing experience to say the least.
It took 15mins to check in for my reservation, 25mins for my order to be taken, watched the ladies that came after me get their drinks within 5mins of sitting down. After 15 more minutes of waiting for our drinks, we got up and left. Horrible service to say the least!
We were seated for 30 mins without any service. When we indicated to the staff we needed their attention we were ignored. The cafe was not busy at the time and it was very off putting the lack of service we received. Will not be visiting again.
The restaurant was very loud and we could not hear ourselves. The food and service were ok but overpriced.
Great experience for Valentine's Day loves this restaurant. Always come back food is the best
A great place to have a meal before seeing a show at The Anthem. Comfy, delish food with friendly and helpful service. Kohanesauane took good care of us and made sure we were on our way before showtime!
Went for sunday brunch. Best prices i've seen so far in the area for brunch. $45 includes bottomless mimosas + entree. Definitely will be back!
Great food and view! Services needs to be improved.

Great restaurant located on the Washington Wharf Marina. Fair price, warm setting, lovely view of the port and the promenade and impeccable service. I can only recommend this restaurant where I had the pleasure of eating twice with my partner during our stay in DC.

The ambience is in the waterfront view. It isn't a fancy place but the food was delicious. I was skeptical when I saw how empty the place was. But it was PERFECT. We were a party of 6. 4 of us got chicken and waffles, one got shrimp and grits and the other braised short rib fried rice. There were no complaints and FULL bellies.

AMAZING ! I had the salad and my partner the burger..
The fries are crispy and homemade, the burger sauce is secret and delicious, and the meat is perfectly cooked.
As for my salad... strawberries in a salad... well! This goes perfectly with avocado, lettuce and goat cheese! It was simply delicious! The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity! Absolutely worth tasting!
Ps: the restaurant is upstairs..

Should’ve reviewed this place a while ago, because I stay at the Canopy whenever I’m in town for work and absolutely love both the food and service at the Central Canopy Cafe and Bar! Favorite dishes are the chicken lettuce wraps, poke nachos, El Guapos tacos, and crispy (sans breading) shrimp Cobb salad. Smash burgers good too - gotta figure out how they make that sauce - nom nom nom!!
Drink wise, can’t go wrong with the Pirate Jenny and love that they carry the High Noon seltzers, since I often like to limit my sugar/carb intake. Servers/bartenders are awesome, too! Definitely recommend this place for a bite/drink if you’re down at the Wharf and/or visiting DC - won’t disappoint!
