Had breakfast. Food was good. Homefries cooked perfect. Restaurant was clean. Service lost a star because never got a coffee refill, not really staff fault as it was busy and only 3 working the restaurant. They did great trying to keep up but needed a 4th person.

We arrived for my birthday brunch on time. We were seated, but nobody approached our table for over 15 minutes. I asked the hostess what was happening. She said they only had one person serving the entire restaurant. This, on a Sunday with peak Cherry Blossoms, a Nationals game, etc. After getting no further response, we left, having never been greeted, asked to be patient, offered a drink while we waited. Nothing. An extremely disappointing experience to say the least.

My friends and I had an early dinner reservation here during the Cherry Blossom Festival 🌸. The food took however long it needed to reach the table, and I couldn’t tell you much about the server—but the manager, Dagim, was hospitable, and our party left feeling full, content, and well accommodated! The three holy grails of a dining experience. On busy nights like this, with many hungry guests, the staff did their best to keep everyone happy. Definitely a great spot to watch the fireworks while enjoying a sweet treat (THEY HAVE RED VELVET!?).

It took 15mins to check in for my reservation, 25mins for my order to be taken, watched the ladies that came after me get their drinks within 5mins of sitting down. After 15 more minutes of waiting for our drinks, we got up and left. Horrible service to say the least!

We were seated for 30 mins without any service. When we indicated to the staff we needed their attention we were ignored. The cafe was not busy at the time and it was very off putting the lack of service we received. Will not be visiting again.

Amazing menu & food quality. Fantastic staff. Great vibes, views, and cleanliness. This is a solid restaurant.

A great place to have a meal before seeing a show at The Anthem. Comfy, delish food with friendly and helpful service. Kohanesauane took good care of us and made sure we were on our way before showtime!

I would have loved to try this place out but unfortunately we were unable to. When we got there no one was at the host stand and there were a few people standing around. I saw some staff members but none of them even acknowledged us. I did finally go up to someone to ask what the process was and she was nice and said she would get a table ready but offered no explanation for what was going on.

I assume they were short staffed and this was probably out of the ordinary for them but with the number of people just standing around and not knowing what was going on, someone should have at least came out to explain, which didn’t happen.

We waited a little bit longer and a table still wasn’t set. Most times we would have been ok with a wait but we had to get somewhere so we decided to leave.

The restaurant is gorgeous and I would love to try it in the future. I just hope the staffing issue gets fixed.

Went for sunday brunch. Best prices i've seen so far in the area for brunch. $45 includes bottomless mimosas + entree. Definitely will be back!

Great food and view! Services needs to be improved.
