I was in town for the day and this restaurant was recommend for me to try. The place looks very nice. But I wasn’t impress with the food. I ordered the fried Calamari, the portions was minimal, over season to the point you were unable to taste the calamari 🥴… i ordered the Orka stew with fish. It didn’t taste fresh but left-over.

I was actually excited to go there after stumbling across this spot on Halloween. The atmosphere is chill and enjoyable...the food wasn't what I anticipated. The girlfriend and I both ordered 2 different meals based on the menu and the waitress took our orders down, but returned with some form of stewed chicken and what I'm guessing was their version of jollof rice. It seemed as if the menu items weren't available, but that was never discussed when our orders were originally placed. The girlfriend has already stated that she would not be returning. I probably would, but only for comedy nights...not for any type of dining.

10/10 experience!! We came here for my sisters birthday and everything was perfect!! The food was delicious!! The customer service was excellent!! The parking was perfect!! We’re definitely coming back!

Food and service beyond 5 stars. A great spot to go eat drink and chill with family and friends. They also have open mic, along with fun social nights. I had the catfish sandwich and it was absolutely phenomenal!

Love love the restaurant. The food was so superbly delicious I had to do to-go. It’s a home away from home. It’s right in a good locate that you can walk from home to get there. I highly recommend this place. Especially happy hour that African Mama is so good.

Brought my husband here for lunch on his birthday. The atmosphere was nice and cozy inside. We ventured outside to enjoy the weather and that was pleasant too. The food however was under whelming. The red Snapper, which runs about $50 was very small. It was served on a huge plate that made it look even smaller. The jollof rice tasted more like Spanish rice. Wait staff was pleasant.

I took my mother there for the first time for brunch and she truly enjoyed it! The food, service, and atmosphere was wonderful. I'm already planning to return with my mother to celebrate her birthday!

What a lovely time we had tonight at this phenomenal place! From the moment we arrived, every staff member was welcoming and all smiles. A professional, clean and on point black owned business that not only has a bomb atmosphere but the food was so delicious. We were celebrating my son's 21st birthday and everything on our plates was so good. From the crab macaroni and cheese, to the red snapper and jolof rice... Just yummy! Did I mention that the music is a whole vibe? I could not have picked a better place to celebrate with my family. I am definitely coming back for a Saturday brunch!
