Appetizers were great.

This was a great experience. I ordered the blackened salmon and my boyfriend got the oxtails with jollof rice and everything was amazing! Highly recommend, we are from the Reading PA area so not local but definitely a spot worth visiting again :)

So me and my man went for a love island showing and the vibe was cool but the service was terrible. No one seated us, we had to ask for menus, ask to place an order, and the servers were ridiculously slow and had no clue what was going on half the time. They were ill dressed and manager couldn’t even keep his pants up. On top of that we ordered one appetizer and it was fake shriveled up calamari and they didn’t even have the sauce they advertised it came with. Our server even forgot it came with sauce until we said something. And then we had to ask for the check twice and there was barely 20 people in there but over 4 servers standing around. Absolutely horrible experience, never coming back.

I’m someone who loves trying different neighborhood spots. But service means the world to my experience. It no way if I sit at the bar and the space not busy I can get a menu within the first 5 mins. It literally was two people next to me who had gotten they’re stuff and the person behind the bar is just walking around doing “ busy work “

food was cold once it came out, seemed over price for what you got.

i had been here before and the service was good, but this most recent time was not great. There restaurant did not appear busy, but it took about 20 minutes to get a bottle beer, and we had to go inside frequently to find our server as we were left waiting with no drinks for 30 minutes.

This is a great little café. The food is lovely & staff were friendly. Nice open & chatty friendly clientele. We enjoyed it.

I was in town for the day and this restaurant was recommend for me to try. The place looks very nice. But I wasn’t impress with the food. I ordered the fried Calamari, the portions was minimal, over season to the point you were unable to taste the calamari 🥴… i ordered the Orka stew with fish. It didn’t taste fresh but left-over.

I was actually excited to go there after stumbling across this spot on Halloween. The atmosphere is chill and enjoyable...the food wasn't what I anticipated. The girlfriend and I both ordered 2 different meals based on the menu and the waitress took our orders down, but returned with some form of stewed chicken and what I'm guessing was their version of jollof rice. It seemed as if the menu items weren't available, but that was never discussed when our orders were originally placed. The girlfriend has already stated that she would not be returning. I probably would, but only for comedy nights...not for any type of dining.

10/10 experience!! We came here for my sisters birthday and everything was perfect!! The food was delicious!! The customer service was excellent!! The parking was perfect!! We’re definitely coming back!

Food and service beyond 5 stars. A great spot to go eat drink and chill with family and friends. They also have open mic, along with fun social nights. I had the catfish sandwich and it was absolutely phenomenal!

Nuthing but love for this spot. Got check it out.

Love love the restaurant. The food was so superbly delicious I had to do to-go. It’s a home away from home. It’s right in a good locate that you can walk from home to get there. I highly recommend this place. Especially happy hour that African Mama is so good.
