The owner went above and beyond to create an Easter basket for my kids as we were flying into town for the holiday weekend. He even arranged delivery to our hotel for us. He was very communicative and created a beautiful basket with an assortment of their candies. Our favorites were the Gummie Bunnies and giant Peanut Butter Cups! I would highly recommend Capital Candy Jar!
Atmosphere is not a fair question…this is where the candy is made. There are a couple of cute displays & a fridge that has unique sodas but it is not a sit down place at all. The candies, chocolate treats, & truffles are amazing! They also sell a locally made ice cream.Vegetarian options: Yes on vegetarian. I do not think there are vegan options though.Kid-friendliness: Brush your teeth after the visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the sidewalk. Street parking though.
