Casbah Cafe Reviews
This modest cafe in Georgetown is a gem. I'm shocked that we were one of only two tables on a Friday at lunchtime. The food was delicious and rivals dishes I've had in Istanbul, Cyprus and Egypt. Service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend this cosy and quaint cafe!
I can't comment on the food because I was there on a date and we didn't order anything except drinks but the server was nice and patient with us since we were there until close to closing... we made sure to tip him very well... hope to be back soon and try the food
I was ordering takeout and choose this place expecting a decent takeout dinner but honestly I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. The lemon chicken plate was so good. And the Dolma was some of the best I've had. I loved that they also gave you a TON of free bread. So good. They give you enough dressings for the plates you ordered so that you definitely won't run out. The Spanakopita was okay. I definitely want to order takeout here
