השירות איטי ביותר, המתנה ארוכה להזמנה.
ההמבורגר יבש וחסר טעם.
הציפס קר.
Ordered the mixed grill for 2, would not recommend. Not even for half the price. When the server brought it to our table he asked with hesitation “this gonna be enough for you two?” The “rib-eye” served was inedible, ate one piece left the rest. talked to the manager about it, he just shrugged it off. I understand it’s tough times for food establishments but this was a terribly negative experience.

Char Bar, a restaurant known for its friendly and professional service, offers a delightful dining experience and is also Kosher certified. The menu features a variety of delectable dishes, including the impressive matzo ball soup with fresh vegetables and a cottage cheese-like texture. The chicken dish is praised for its flavorful taste, complemented perfectly by the refreshing mint. Visitors can also enjoy a satisfying burger at a reasonable price point for the Foggy Bottom area. The pastrami sandwich, known as The Lower East Side, is particularly outstanding, featuring lean, expertly smoked pastrami that is incredibly tender and full of flavor. Char Bar stays true to its Jewish roots, closing in observance of holidays, and avoiding the inclusion of bacon on the menu, which can be a disappointment at other delis. The ambiance is intimate and cozy, with clean facilities and responsive staff who handle requests politely. Overall, Char Bar provides a welcoming atmosphere and a menu that caters to a wide range of tastes, making it worth a visit even if it means waiting a bit when busy.
