Nice location with a view of the Capitol. The service is very good, but a bit slow. Everyone's steak was cooked about one level below what was ordered. For a high end steakhouse, it was fine.

This was our first time diningat Charlie Palmers and what an experience.Best martini, perfect amount of dirty and cold is it should be...The food and the service was beyond excellent. Our party.had been stuck on plane for too many hours and our server Rodrigo went far beyond to make sure everything was just as ordered and setting great mood for table.

Great option in this part of DC. But you must ask for Rodrigo to be your waiter! He has been there for ages, and will make great recommendations. Food is solid. Atmosphere is even better. It’s a great place to take clients - and it’s one of the few DC restaurants where tables are far enough apart, and music soft enough, that you can have a meaningful or serious conversation!

In all the years I have been coming to CP (started in 2009) I have met nothing but the most amazing, professional, friendly, helpful, well informed, and top notch staff. This year is no different, as a matter of fact Tal and Gustavo have gone well above and beyond in their service. If I could give them something more than a tip I would. Pleae, please do what you can to retain them ...they are phenomenal individuals and make every experience superb!!
