We ordered our food to go at 8:18 via their website. Husband (not Ethiopian) went to go pick it up at 8:50. They told him their printer was broken so they didn’t receive the order and to come back in 15 minutes. We came back in about 30. Food still wasn’t ready.
The person he was speaking to didn’t speak English that well so I asked for him to put me on speaker, which he did and I asked in Amharic why it was taking so long. Her response was “you didn’t pay for...read full review

Chercher Ethiopian Restaurant & Mart offers a warm and inviting experience, showcasing the diversity of Ethiopian cuisine. The restaurant features a cozy and clean ambiance, with friendly service that helps customers choose from the menu. The food is flavorful and exotic, with colorful dishes that are perfect for families. Customers often enjoy a sample plate that includes multiple Virgen dishes and meat options, each seasoned well and highlighting individual ingredients. The Ethiopian flatbread sourdough is light and spongy, pairing nicely with the dishes. Ethiopian artwork decorates the space, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The Geba Weta Tibs and Kitfo received praise for their authentic taste, similar to what you'd find in Addis Ababa. The vegetarian/vegan sampler (deluxe version!) was described as magnificent, with two spicy dishes, Ye'misir Kike We't and Fosolia Be Carote, standing out. The restaurant is small but lively, with very friendly staff and good vegetarian options. The Special #1 (Deluxe Vegan) was highly recommended, especially when ordered family style for each person, offering generous portions. The okra on the platter was a particular highlight. Though there is only one waitress serving, she manages her duties impressively. Tef injera is available upon request, and food is often served on individual plates unless a share plate is requested. The restaurant also offers Ethiopian beers that pair well with the cuisine. Despite limited tables, the wait for food is usually worth it, providing a memorable dining experience.
