Five stars all the way. The food at Chiko is unique and amazing every single time. My faves: Orange-ish Chicken, Half-a-Cado Salad and Brussels Sprouts. One of my favorite restaurants in DC, for sure.

Needed to grab some food. Chicko was recommended to us so in the rain we went. Vibe inside was meh, but the tables were having lively discussions. Menu is smaller BUT a variety that is impressive ! We started with blistered green beans and a cold peanut noodles. no expectations ; first bites were WOWWWW green beans perfectly blistered and the sauce just meshed with flavor. The peanut noodles were light with cold cucumber slivers but the star was the peanut sauce. We were so enthusiastic...

Let me just start off by saying: this is one of the BEST meals I have ever eaten in DC by far without any question. Everything was perfect. The chicken wings, shrimp dumplings, green beans, cucumber and kimichi were all delicious. And to top it all off, Jalil was so angelic. He was so attentive and sweet which made my first time is worth it that I will be back this week! Thank you Jalil and the friendly staff cooking (I sat at the highstools) cooks were so sweet.
