The food looked great, but I was pretty disappointed with the flavor. The meat in both the soup and the lo mein was very good, but everything else was bland. The broth in the noodle soup unfortunately had no flavor, and the lo mein noodles were just as tasteless. Overall, it was a rather disappointing meal

Sunday 9/28 9:40 am still not open, no one inside, no one pick up phone. Opened 9:45am. Self service place, must order & pay up front. Very small, busy early Sunday. Food came out at 10:35am. Steamed Shrimp rolls didn't come with any sauce which is odd. Wonton was ok, soup was plain. Beef intestines noodle was decent. Inexpensive. Not great experience tons of mosquitoes outside while waiting and a few inside.

Ordered the beef chow foon. As others have mentioned it was very oily but the flavor was decent, though it needed a little *something* more. The sauces on the table tasted like nothing…they were so mild I’m not sure if they were cut with water. I would come back and try something else since the menu is so big but would definitely explore a different restaurant first. Also, you can save a good 4-5$ paying with cash.

My favorite Chinese place in DC. My go to is the beef brisket with noodle soup. The soup is so flavorful. Make sure you ask for the pickled jalapenos and red chili oil.

Not much for seating. The food was great. It tasted different that Panda Express. I think it may have been more authentic.

Small restaurant. Very cramped. Do not accept credit card — cash only. Food was good though.

This was a really good spot! Was looking for a quick bite after hitting the gym and this came up on google and boy it did not disappoint. I got the shumai and popcorn chicken which were both insanely good!

Popcorn chicken wasn’t too spicy and a good serving too for only $8. The shumai was amazing I honestly wish I got 2 servings.

Really kind staff and small space! Be prepared to possibly not find seating if you’re not by yourself or more than a group of 2 people.

Be sure to bring cash as well! They do take card but you’ll have to order online first.

Great food but an establishment on the smaller side so be prepared to maybe not have a seat, or snag one as soon as it’s opened. we were lucky and able to find a 4 person table available. Also bring cash or you can order online!
The food was very good and we will definitely be returning!
The beef brisket rice noodle soup was so delicious I can’t wait to get again. Shrimp rice noodle crepe was also very very good. Also ordered the combo lo mein which some of the best lo mein I’ve had.
5/5 recommend and will return

Was not expecting this hole in the wall gem. Avoid the sui mai but their flat rice noodle dishes are on point!
