This little cafe is, by far, the best place to eat in Union Station. It is upstairs on the east side of the mezzanine level offering a very wide variety of tasty Asian and Middle Eastern dishes in a quiet, courteous and uncrowded environment. My wife and I live nearby and, for over 20 years have come frequently for lunch and the occasional dinner. This is definitely THE place to eat in Union Station.
This is a tucked away gem. Get the Shanghai rolls with a side of white rice and it’ll change your life. The Manila BBQ (chicken or pork) has a deliciously unique flavor and epic char. Pickled and steamed veggies are perfect too. I love this place, it has the nicest staff and is the last remaining soul of Union Station❤️
I highly recommend this restaurant, I asked one of the transit staff their favorite place to eat in the station and was directed here.
If you can get past how high in elevation you’ll be, then you have a great meal and service ahead of you.
I ordered shrimp fried rice w/ steamed broccoli (not sure of the exact platter name), it was great and refreshing. The plate had me set for my journey ahead, thanks again.
