Enjoyed this place but looks like it may have closed down. Margaritas and tacos were excellent. Don’t think the neighborhood took to it like El Chucho’s bar scene. Tough location near Monroe St as it’s on the edge of 11th where the Coupe is king.

We are at CS for the first time the other night. It met expectations. The place has a Latin feel that doesn't go overboard. The service was prompt and the food was great. A little more sauce on the rellano than I liked, but was still a great dish. The mixed tacos were also enjoyed particularly the fish taco. Another spot to put in the rotation.

Just went for the 4th time, and have been impressed each time. I had the fish, al pastor, and brussels sprouts tacos, and I can honestly say they are among the best (if not the best) in the DMV. And they have a great HH deal—3 tacos and any cocktail for $20. Cinco Soles definitely deserves to be much busier than it is, but the advantage of its under-the-radar status is that you can get a table any time.

Kid-friendliness: Cinco soles is a crowd pleaser for our entire family! And they are so welcoming of our kids, who love taking a trip to the “train playground” across the street while we wait for food. 10/10 recommend!

Great Mexican restaurant option in Washington DC. The tacos are tasty and the Choriqueso is delicious (a little spicy). The churros are very good (ask for a spoon to eat the chocolate that accompanies them).

The quality of the food is only rivaled by the outstanding customer service. Tacos ( I love the pollo tacos) are simple, but extraordinary. The rice is flavorful and light. Comfortable atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone. Also open for lunch Wednesday thru Friday.

Typical “Mexican Restaurant” in DC. Fake Mexican food, Nachos were made with a tiny bit of nacho cheese. Not even real Mexican cheese was provided. Churros were all sugar no substance. Mole chicken surprisingly was good. But like I said typical fake Mexican restaurant in DC. Shame.

Really good food and drinks. They could have a bit better pricing on basic cocktails or a Happy Hour menu, but the quality of everything was great.

We enjoyed everything! There were great drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert. I went to for my birthday and they made the meal special for me. I would highly recommend this sweet jewel to anyone that likes authentic Mexican food.
On a very sunny day 70 degrees it wasn't any customers. The bartender was our server upon other customers arriving he had to do dual roles. The Birria Goat Tacos was my favorite excellent from bite to bite. The seafood enchilada was good it was more dip to us requiring some chips. Halibut dish was average needed a little more seasoning. Overall it was good
