Store location closes before the time and staff are rude for the most part they don’t care to do their job.

I’ve ordered from this Cold Stones about 4x while my husband was in HOSPICE. Believe me when I say this isn’t a place you would want to put your trust in when ordering online for delivery. Not once did we get exactly what we ordered. Not once were our containers full. Half full yes, completely full, forget about that. When asking to mix completely, I don’t believe they know what that means. You order mix-ins, good luck in getting what you’ve paid for. Don’t bother to call. Phone is never answered. This place needs to be shut down for robbing customers without a freaking gun! Makes no sense how they do customers they know cannot get out. All my poor husband wanted in his last days since he couldn’t really eat food was some good ice cream. And they robbed him of that but he kept saying let’s pay this one maybe will be better love. Well I THANK GOD he will no longer be disappointed by this mess of a so called ice creamery. Please be careful of the places you’re ordering from. If they’ve messed up once, they’ll probably keep messing up. I JUST PRAY THEY WILL STOP THEM FROM DELIVERING at least.

Ordered 2 items for delivery and only 1 was delivered.

When I called for a refund on the item that wasn’t delivered, I was hung up on… after they told me they told the delivery driver they only could make one of the two items.

At no point was I contacted by them or the driver, nor was I given a refund for the item they could not make. My card was charged for the full amount of the two items.

I called again - just wanting to get a refund on the second item! And they hung up again. They did this 2 more times and then stopped answering.

There is no other mechanism for me to get a refund - the Cold Stone website (where I put in the order) doesn’t have a place to request a refund. The refund was not possible via the delivery service - the delivery order was processed on the Cold Stone site, by that local unit, so they’re the only ones who can dispense the refund.

Since they hung up multiple times, and also didn’t take any of my information, and also didn’t let me just “hold” on the phone to wait to talk to whomever would give the refund, my only path forward was to dispute the charge (which I’ve never done before! Ever lmao.)

I didn’t expect a supposedly simple thing to do to turn into something that felt a bit dramatic - it should have just been a simple phone call to resolve in like 2 seconds (especially with their saying they didn’t make the second item to begin with..)

Don't go here, my husband and I spent 10 minutes just waiting for them to speak to us and they wouldn't respond to hellos or even acknowledge our presence. Rude, and gave us something other than what we asked for to boot.

May I first start off by saying I I’ve been to this location plenty of times with no issues. No matter if it’s during the day or right before closing…. But after this interaction I don’t think imma be back for awhile.

Me and my significant other decided to grab some ice cream from this location around 10 PM( mind you They close at 11 PM)

We waited in line for about 10 minutes maybe even a little more trying to figure out what we want so when we got to the front, it was no issue.

My significant other order the Oreo overload, and I wanted the chocolate devotion. I was told I couldn’t get the chocolate devotion because there was no more chocolate ice cream, even though The guy working there pointed to the back to one of the female workers saying “ There’s some in the back” , but I completely understand not wanting to open a brand new thing of ice cream and you close within the next 40 minutes.

So I chose to get a different ice cream and mix in a brownie. I asked for peanut butter cookie dough, ice cream. Also keep in mind we told them we wanted the ice cream in the” love it” size. After paying $20 For the ice cream, we realized that we got charged for two” love it” size ice cream cups but they put it in a “ like it” size Cup, which is smaller. My ice cream did not taste like what I wanted( literally taste like sweet cream ice cream. No cookie dough pieces nor peanut butter flavor). and my significant other ice cream tasted funny( the chocolate chips that come in the ice cream, literally spit those out ) . After trying to figure out the best move of possibly getting a refund, The man working in the store Went in the back and got the females that had made the ice cream and they both had attitudes.

I am not the type to be confrontational however, my significant other is the type to make sure that things go right. After realizing that The guy had his AirPods in the other female, had her AirPods in and acted like she didn’t know how to make orders. The other female that was there wasn’t too bad. It just seemed like she was ready to go home.

I love Cold Stone… but this particular Location needs to do better.

Just tried to get some ice cream with a friend. We were in there for about 10 to 15 minutes deciding what we wanted. Once we knew what we wanted, we let the two ladies know we were ready to order. We were ignored completely. We waited another 5 minutes in front of the counter and then they told us they were closed. It was 10:23pm and the hours say they close at 11:00pm. We then were outside of the store deciding where else to go and they started serving other customers inside. Absolutely terrible service. We were not rude to them at all and the two ladies working in there had an attitude.

I wanted to share my recent experience with a service that really missed the mark. First off, I was bummed to find out that no products were available when I needed them most. You know how it is—you're all set to make a purchase, and then suddenly, nothing’s in stock. That’s a real letdown.
To make matters worse, I noticed some overcharging happening. It’s always a bummer when you think you’re getting a good deal, only to realize you're being charged more than expected. Nobody likes that feeling, right? It’s disappointing to feel like you're not getting your money's worth, especially when you're trying to support local businesses or services.
And don’t even get me started on the organization (or lack thereof)! It felt like chaos—everyone was scrambling around without a clear plan. Really, how hard is it to keep things organized? When a place is unorganized, it just adds to the confusion and makes the whole experience even worse. I found myself waiting longer than necessary, and honestly, it took away from what should’ve been a simple shopping trip.
At the end of the day, these kinds of experiences
can really turn you off from going back. I mean, who wants to deal with poor service, overcharges, and chaos? I guess it’s just one of those reminders to always check reviews and maybe think twice before diving into a new place. Fingers crossed for better experiences ahead!

let’s start off with this, the employee was disrespectful off the start she didn’t even greet us and have us a stare like she didn’t want any customers also she had bags on the counter and people standing around rolling weed and I think she did something with my ice cream my stomach is hurting this isn’t a joke my visit was around 5:01 and I’m very disappointed with my visit DO NOT ORDER FROM THERE

“Unfortunately, this Cold Stone location was a disappointment. The store itself was dirty, which already made me uncomfortable, but the worst part was the attitude of the staff. The girl working there was incredibly rude and dismissive, making the whole experience unpleasant. I would have overlooked the cleanliness issues, but the poor service is why I’m leaving this 1-star review. Customer service should always come first!”

If I could give 0 stars, I would! The employees that work at this location are RUDE! They don’t greet any of the customers and when you try to get their attention to place an order, they will ignore you. They also use a lot of profanity and make the food delivery workers cancel orders that are placed online because they don’t feel like preparing them! They REALLY need to either close this location or get new employees!

I visited the Cold Stone Creamery at Navy Yard today around noon, and the experience was terrible. The employee was very rude and took too long to acknowledge me. She purposely ignored me and didn’t seem interested in helping customers. She even refused to answer my questions and walked away while I was speaking to her! It’s surprising that someone who dislikes dealing with people this much is working there. I won’t be returning to this location.
