Ice cream was tasty. But as previous reviews mentioned, the customer service wasn’t stellar. Not sure if I’ll be back.

let’s start off with this, the employee was disrespectful off the start she didn’t even greet us and have us a stare like she didn’t want any customers also she had bags on the counter and people standing around rolling weed and I think she did something with my ice cream my stomach is hurting this isn’t a joke my visit was around 5:01 and I’m very disappointed with my visit DO NOT ORDER FROM THERE

“Unfortunately, this Cold Stone location was a disappointment. The store itself was dirty, which already made me uncomfortable, but the worst part was the attitude of the staff. The girl working there was incredibly rude and dismissive, making the whole experience unpleasant. I would have overlooked the cleanliness issues, but the poor service is why I’m leaving this 1-star review. Customer service should always come first!”

If I could give 0 stars, I would! The employees that work at this location are RUDE! They don’t greet any of the customers and when you try to get their attention to place an order, they will ignore you. They also use a lot of profanity and make the food delivery workers cancel orders that are placed online because they don’t feel like preparing them! They REALLY need to either close this location or get new employees!

I visited the Cold Stone Creamery at Navy Yard today around noon, and the experience was terrible. The employee was very rude and took too long to acknowledge me. She purposely ignored me and didn’t seem interested in helping customers. She even refused to answer my questions and walked away while I was speaking to her! It’s surprising that someone who dislikes dealing with people this much is working there. I won’t be returning to this location.

I don’t know what’s colder: the name or the attitude of the young lady working behind the counter. I’ve had better ice cream and service at far too many CSC locations. I definitely will not be back.

Tried to give this establishment the benefit of doubt b/c I enjoy eating icecream and live 4 mins away. But, forget it!! Lack of professionalism, customer service and courtesy is out the window and just take your business elsewhere. Where is Undercover Boss when you need it!!

Just straight up rude, it was my first time at coldstone and I wasn’t even greeted upon walking in, me and the girl in the front literally just made eye contact as if I’m not supposed to be there, I literally had to ask if I can order .

Worst customer service. One of the girls was on her phone while taking orders with her AirPods in. She was on the phone raising her voice while customers were making orders. Most unprofessional location. They don’t wash their hands nor use gloves. You could tell they hated their job.

Used UberEats. In addition to there being no waffle cone that I was billed for, the extra topping I paid for was not in there and there was only 2 fragments of a Reese’s cup and a tablespoon or so of peanut butter on the top for the including toppings. Pretty much just got vanilla ice cream for $30. What a scam!

Listless and unmotivated - very poor service

I walked in to this location to try some ice cream for the first time. I waited two minutes before someone came to serve me. A young lady with a gray hoodie served me and I asked her to give me a run down of what flavors is present in front of me and can I sample ice cream. She immediately came off rude and said “you can’t sample all the ice cream”. Mind you she had a AirPod in her right ear so she didn’t hear me correctly because she probably had music playing while serving me. When I got the first sample, I have noticed that she didn’t have on gloves for one and for two, her index fingernail was dirty. I see that I found this very unsanitary and will plan to call the health department for poor hygiene practices. If you plan to go to cold stone, don’t go to this location in Navy Yard.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The DC Department of Health needs to visit this location before someone gets seriously sick. This location needs to close due to health reasons. We ordered an ice cream that my daughter had to throw away as it was spoiled and was getting her sick. Two ladies working behind the counter will not greet you...play with their hair and scoop ice cream without gloves. Just NASTY!!
