Dude. If you're a sucker for interesting pizza toppings like myself, come to Comet. All the signature dishes look incredible. The host was very nice and helped me pick mine (Timeout) and I got it to-go in like 15 minutes. So delicious man. I was hoping to eat half and save for later but I am a weak woman and this is delicious pizza. Will be coming back to try the rest soon!

I love the food and atmosphere here, but what I also want to praise is how great they are for events. We had our son's bar mitzvah party at Comet and the staff was a dream to work with. They did everything perfectly -- the appetizers, the pizzas, the ice cream sundaes, the games in the back, the cheerful service at the bar. Whatever we needed, they were right there to help out. The warmth and ease they all have, along with the professionalism and the great food, made our party amazing. Plus, our out-of-town relatives were impressed because Comet is pretty famous these days, even though it's still our warm, friendly neighborhood restaurant.

Such a fantastic family place - kids have something to do and wide selection of afterwork drinks!
This is the best gluten-free pizza in DC, hands down. I love any opportunity to come to Comet Ping Pong - usually accompanied by a stop in Politics and Prose next door. You really can't go wrong with the pizzas here, but I love the Time Out and the Spring Chick (pictured here). Service is always friendly, although there can be a bit of a wait. But there's ping pong tables to pass the time while you wait! My only complaint is that they charge $6 for gluten free crust - the highest gluten free fee I've seen. But, I can't stay away. It's just that good.

New Comet Ping Pong fan here! Great food and vibes. I’m vegetarian and so glad they let me sub potato for the chicken on the Spring Chick pizza. It was amazing!! Someone even asked me what pizza it was on their way out because it looked so good. Yum
