Kind people, excellent customer service. Best breakfast sandwich I've had since childhood. The jerk chicken is sooooooo good.

Something for everyone in a picky family and with allergies. Gluten friendly options. Health conscious options. Great find.

We visited this the one at the corner of 14th Street and F Street, close to the Treasury building and the White House. Probably our favourite place to eat in DC. We were very glad to have found it, not too far from the National Mall. We were determined to avoid all the burger vans serving crap! This place is not a tourist trap and serves decent enough coffee with plenty of choice. Also a good selection of baked goods, as the name implies. My partner loved the cinnamon roll. However I couldn’t help being shocked at how absolutely everything is served in disposable packaging. It seems so wrong and wasteful to a European. I realise America is different but not everything different is good. Anyway, having said that, it’s true of so many American places to eat, not just here. I would recommend it as a decent place to go within spitting distance of the National Mall and the White House. We really liked the relaxed atmosphere. Just one note of caution- I think I was pickpocketed in the restroom there, so take care if you go in there.

I’ve always wanted to try this place but they advertise that they close at 8 but in actuality close at 5 . That’s bad business and false

I made a quick stop for an ice cream craving since this spot is right down the street. There were very limited options for ice cream and even less for toppings. Many of the containers were empty. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the poor customer service. Only one woman was working when I arrived and no one else was inside. I was never greeted and waited minutes before I finally spoke to figure out how to order. The woman was short and unfriendly and I did not feel very welcomed. I ordered a couple of scoops and then left. Not sure if I will come back and may just make the longer trip to get better options and better service.

I really don't know how long this place has been open but they gave me great service. The fish sandwich that I had was one of the best I've had in a long time.

Looks like a rough part of town for this city boy...but just what I was looking for. Nice lady behind the counter and the chef knew how to make a po'boy. The buffalo chicken po'boy was fried fresh and the sauce was just right. Most people soak the chicken with buffalo sauce and it gets way to salty and I love salty. This man seasoned it just right. Nice soft roll with all the topping. It was a good size for like $12. Loved it. I have the fish sandwich and breakfast on my hit list. I don't get to that area often, but I just might be a regular. Thank. you. p.s. they also have several flavors of ice cream, but limited or now seating.

Beware of eating at this cafe…their food was so good it put us into a 4 hour food coma. We ordered the French toast platter with a side of bacon while my family ordered a side of eggs. Too good!

The nicest people ever. I am still in the car n just left. Could not wait to review. The best chicken n waffles my daughter has had. I basically inhaled my bacon n egg sandwich. The chef was very friendly n the cashier was super sweet. Their location is saved in my favorites. I'm definitely coming here again if I come back to D.C..

This was THE BEST chicken and waffles I HAVE EVER HAD! Brought four women in who could not pick what they wanted for brunch and all FOUR of us found something we enjoyed. Cheese grits were impeccable, the cashier was sweet, the chef was funny. Don't miss out on this little joint!!!
