We visited this the one at the corner of 14th Street and F Street, close to the Treasury building and the White House. Probably our favourite place to eat in DC. We were very glad to have found it, not too far from the National Mall. We were determined to avoid all the burger vans serving crap! Looks like a rough part of town for this city boy...but just what I was looking for. Nice lady behind the counter and the chef knew how to make a po'boy. The buffalo chicken po'boy was fried fresh and the sauce was just right. Most people soak the chicken with buffalo sauce and it gets way to salty and I love salty. This man seasoned it just right. Beware of eating at this cafe…their food was so good it put us into a 4 hour food coma. We ordered the French toast platter with a side of bacon while my family ordered a side of eggs. Too good!
