Fantastic food and the drinks were particularly delightful. We unknowingly went during restaurant week and had some folks pick that menu while others ate a la carte. From bread service through dessert, everyone was incredibly pleased with the experience.
This was our first time dining at Dauphine's, and we absolutely loved it. Our server Marbin was very helpful and described the popular menu items on both the regular dinner menu and restaurant week menu. All staff members were super friendly and attentive. The bread service was delicious and had a great variety (worth the $11!) The smoked sirloin was cooked perfectly and incredibly flavorful. I also really enjoyed the restaurant week pasta, Doppio Agnolotti, it had such a great combo of flavors - brie, butternut squash, sour cherry, balsamic and sage. The bread pudding was one of the best we've had, and the cream cheese is such a great addition to this dessert. We're really happy we decided to try Dauphine's. Thank you for a great first experience!
Did not appreciate the stealth 4% fee being added to our order. I didn't see it written anywhere on the menu (that you'd notice as a normal customer) and the server didn't mention it at all. I had to find it on the receipt and it wasn't even on the top receipt paper handed to me. Hard to tip 20% like I usually do when the restaurant is going to grab another 4% from me in this way. If you have this fee, please make it apparent to your customers and have the server mention it when dropping off the check.
Food was very good. Quail was perfectly done. Kitchen was pretty busy so food took awhile but we got a free unexpected baked Alaska which was tasty. Good energy
Lovely spot with great food and easy ambiance. I loved the restaurant week menu they had, and A+ cocktails!
Bartender was great, happy hour all day Sunday is even better, food and drinks were amazing
Very pretty restaurant with great music. Service was incredibly slow. It took 20 minutes to get a bottle of wine. Food was also slow. Really slow. Tiny water glasses that had to be refilled constantly. The kale & Brussels sprouts salad was excellent as were the oysters & gumbo. The rabbit tagliatelle main dish was appetizer sized. At 6:30 pm they were out of jambalaya (what???). The pork chop was way overcooked & dry. Staff bussed our table while a member of our party was still eating (another what???). We wanted to love this place, but.... Never again.
Very nice experience with my family. Food was well prepared and thoughtful. Can be a bit noisy though depending on how crowded it is.
I absolutely love the concept and ambiance of this space, and the food itself was good. However, the service on 11/25 was a major letdown. We had multiple issues with our orders, items were either incorrect, incomplete, or forgotten entirely. We spent a considerable amount of time waiting for food that never arrived. While the server did apologize when we asked, it wasn’t enough to salvage the frustration of the experience.

We went on a Sunday night and the place was packed. One of the best staff and service. We tried their crab dip, bread service (best butter n bread), tosso stuffed chicken, oyster sliders… all of them tasted really great. Quite a big drinks n wine menu. Even has options for non alcohol too. All day happy hour on Sunday too. Will come back again.

Excellent find through OpenTable! Entire staff very friendly. Well-versed on food allergies. Upscale take on Creole inspired food. Excellent menu for drinks, raw bar, happy hour and dinner. Looking forward to our next experience there!
My colleague and I visited for dinner on a Monday evening. We did not have reservations and were seated right away. It was fairly busy at the time. We walked to the restaurant from our nearby hotel so unsure about the parking situation if one is driving in. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were fair. Food and beverages were good. My colleague and I shared 3 appetizers and each had an entree.

The food was good, but in terms of service, we felt like chopped liver. We had a reservation for two. Admittedly, we arrived six minutes late. After we checked in at the host stand, one staff member told us to wait, so we kept waiting, but then no one seated us for 10/15 minutes. Another staff member at the hostess stand finally seated us- she apologized, saying she'd thought we were part of another group that was waiting to be seated or something (though we were standing away from anyone else.) Once seated, it took awhile for our server to arrive. He didn't seem very happy to be there. I asked if I could order the eggs Benedict without mustard (I've had an allergic reaction to mustard before) and he said yes. I asked if there would still be hollandaise sauce, and he said yes. When the dish arrived, there was no sauce at all. Admittedly, it was still pretty tasty, though youguys seem to go a bit overboard with the side salad. The server then never once came by to ask us how anything was. He only came by once towards the end to wordlessly give us a bit more water. The friendliest person we encountered was the young man who brought us water before the server came and one other time. Overall, the experience of being largely ignored left a bad taste in our mouths this afternoon.
Service was terrible, the waiter did not come once to check on us. The manager tried his best to check on us. Once of the worst restaurant experience we ever had. Absolutely horrible!
My wife and I are pretty experienced diners. Our server Helene was fun, approachable, and knowledgeable about the menu.
Highlights included— everything!! From the delicate service in between courses, food presentation, and flavor profile of everything we ate. Cocktails were amazing, plus an approachable and eclectic wine program.
Boudin Balls, Oysters, Pommes Souffle, Tuna Au Poivre were all huge standouts.
