Been here quite a few times and it’s my absolute favorite boba spot in the city! I’m a creature of habit but I can’t help but get excited by the amount of options this shop offers. I always try something different and so far, I haven’t been disappointed. I’ve tried the Mermaid Latte (the blue one) and it had a great butterfly pea tea and coconut flavor. Another fave is the Honeydew milk tea! Super creamy and flavorful! Another fave is the Mango Milk Tea! Milky and fruity! The shop is small but clean and the staff seemed friendly. The wait is never too long. Only complaint is the price. Definitely more expensive than some other competitor boba shops but since it’s a small business, I don’t mind too much. Will be back! :]

Love this little shop. My go to banh mi place in the neighborhood. I’m trying to taste all the different fillings, and everything so far was excellent. My fav is vietnams ham, and grilled pork. Other drinks and snacks available too. Go support this small business!

I went in for a honeydew milk tea with boba and walked out with that plus a pork belly bao bun to try! Both very good. It’s so nice to have a local boba place to satisfy the craving!! Friendly staff, good pricing on food.
My only wish is that they had sesame ball pastries. Please add!

The lady attending to customers was rude to me. This was my first time getting a DC Boba myself, and I was trying to figure out the different flavors, prices, and recommendations. But she was extremely rude and was giving me an unnecessary attitude.

I wouldn't be trying this particular DC Boba again.

Just stopped in for bai but was very disappointed by the experience. The woman working the counter was lovely but the practices around the bar confuse me. I said yes when asked whether I’d like the bao warmed up. After warming the bao in the microwave, the employee proceeded to rewrap them in cellophane, causing me to question whether they’d been warmed in the plastic. Removing hot from plastic is… not fun and makes me worry about the temperature causing the plastic to cling to the food.

Also, the paper on the bottom of the bao were fused to the buns, creating another layer of frustration, to the point where I just ended up throwing them both away.

The customer service was great and I’d like to come back to try the banh mi, but my experience with the bao was so discouraging I recommend you just get them at room temperature and warm them at home.

Blind customer: this place is difficult to access. It’s a basement unit with a small spiral staircase. Though is difficult to access my drink was wonderful. And the staff are very kind.

The veggies on my banh mi were fresh and added a lovely crunch. The hot milk tea really hit the spot on a dreary day. Service was friendly and welcoming.

Very good bobba and drink but paying over $9 for a cup that is not full because I asked for no ice, disappointing

Spicy chicken banh mi sandwich is great, and comes with a free Ginseng iced tea! If you ask, they can lower the sweetness of the tea, add less ice, & remove the jalapeños (the chicken is already spicy), FYI.

Their matcha tea tastes fishy and their prompts for tip ask for 20, 25, 30% very tacky

ordered two banh mi for pickup at 11:45am and was told 12pm for pickup. showed up and it wasn’t ready. currently 12:20 and still not ready. shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to make banh mi. also tried the taro milk tea and it tasted like taro powder with water. disappointed since i typically try to support local spots like this.

Thai Tea & Lychee Punch.

We had a miss at another "Boba Tea" location & came here on a referral & glad we did. My wife has a hit or miss with Lychee drinks, but DC Boba really made a refreshing version. If you're looking for Boba on this side of DC, DC Boba is a great choice! ♥️?
