DC Vegan Reviews
We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. He said it was the best "chicken" sandwich he ever had and I can't convince him it was actually vegan 😆 Well done friends 👏👏 I had the artichoke bowl which was fantastic and the cheesecake is to die for! Wish we could have stayed in DC longer as I would have loved to try the other menu items.
get some. eat it. tell friends. YUM!
this is for botanical bar...we go pretty often and even recommend the bar to friends and visitors. but the service last night was HORRIBLE. never going back and now telling folks to avoid it

DC Vegan offers a unique culinary experience with exceptional vegan dishes, creatively presented. The cozy decor provides a welcoming atmosphere, and the space features an intimate bar setting along with outdoor seats that are great when the weather is nice. The menu includes a variety of delicious options, such as flavorful potato skins, a big serving of jackfruit entree, and the herb and focaccia bread, which is perfectly toasted and buttery. Many dishes are gluten-free, accommodating different dietary needs. The restaurant has friendly and attentive table service that makes guests feel comfortable. Popular dishes include the mac & cheese with coconut bacon, the meatball bowl, and the artichoke bowl, all praised for their flavors. Desserts like cheesecake, tiramisu, cannoli, and Oreo cheesecake are highly recommended and considered heavenly, with the Oreo cheesecake being especially rich. The "chicken" cutlet club is highly praised, with some calling it the best vegan "chicken" sandwich ever, and the Chicken Piccata, with its tasty chicken fillet, batter, potato puree, and broccolini, is highly enjoyed. The Caesar salad is also noted as the best, with a secret ingredient like nori that adds an addictive umami flavor. Guests appreciate the flavorful, well-prepared food, great atmosphere, and friendly service. The restaurant is a popular choice for those seeking a delightful vegan dining experience in DC.
