Editing this review after trying it a second time, from 4 stars to 5. It is pricey, but you can tell that there is effort put into the food served. Its flavorful, but some items may need a bit of salt (which could be good for those with specific dietary needs). The first time, I ordered the bucatini and meatball pasta, Chesapeake fritter sandwich, and carrot cake slice. Everything was great apart from the side of fries. The second time, I ordered the lasagne with focaccia bread and carrot cake. The second order was magnificent. SO good! Overall, I would recommend.

Such a lovely spot- food was AMAZING, atmosphere was perfect. I had the calamari which was so well done, I honestly couldn’t tell it was mushrooms. And the eggplant entree with ricotta almond cheese was also delicious. There were SO many different desserts! This place is a dream for vegans ☺️

the cozy experience
It's been a while since I've been here and I was sad to learn they no longer have the cute, intimate, and moody downstairs dining room. The food especially the mushroom calamari was still incredibly well done however all of it saltier than I remember. Our first waiter disappeared when we were ready to order so after 20 minutes we flagged down the other one and she was amazing hopefully she got the full tip we left and not split have to split it with the other one. The chef was amazing and was able to mark on a menu which items to avoid due to a coconut allergy that I have and I was still left with plenty of options... Just nothing in the cheese case. Specifically I wanted to go back for the best vegan parmesan I've ever had I forget where it was imported from it was 26$ and worth every penny. Alas all the products in there where new since my last visit close to 2 years ago.

The food in this restaurant was absolutely amazing. The seating space is comfortable and perfect for a date or a nice meal with friends. They also have a huge variety of pastries and coffee, making it an ideal spot if you’re looking for a great place to work. Previously, I had this restaurant cater a big event I organized, and we got cookies and lasagna that were fantastic. This was my first time eating at the restaurant itself, and I loved everything about it. We came here with a big group and everyone loved the food. Some dishes were so unique and delicious, I’ve never had anything like them before. I give it a solid 10 out of 10.
