I love this place! The Whiskey Bar in SE is it for me! Now, I still don’t love smoked meat - but there are other eats that fit the need. Come for the drinks, stay for the good time.

Tender moist brisket, piping hot greens with a sweet note, and eclectic jalpeño grits. The service is friendly and professional.

The one weak point of this place is that the seating kind of sucks, with unduly high bolted in stools mismatched to a counter that’s too low for them. Then they have those common cheap metal counter stools with the handle in the seat. There are no tables here during my visit in September 2025. I’ve been here several times, but...

I ordered thru Uber eats, I was disappointed with my order. $25 for 1/2 rack spareribs. They were not fresh and cold. Not bashing just giving my review. I see lots of reviews where the owner keeps saying the reviews are for clout and fake. That's unprofessional and not taking accountability. As for me, I'm over it. Life moves on.
