I just moved to DC from Denver and I love this place already. Food is Homestyle and reminds me of my grandma house on a Sunday morning before church. They service was top tier. I tipped good. I will be returning here more often no doubt
Nice hole in the walk that I've been going to for decades. I love the food from the big sandwiches to the generous dinner plates. Very friendly atmosphere.Parking: Limited & tight.Wheelchair accessibility: No!

I LOVE it here. I enjoy the soulful cooked meals, the service is very nice and I especially enjoy the other patrons who have been coming here for years and years like myself. I like to sit and have a few laughs . It's a great, fun place to sit,and enjoy. Take out is superb as well. The owner is so kind and I miss his mother as she adored me.
