Overall gave this place a 3 because food is the most important and my guest and I found our food to be under seasoned (chicken and waffles, omelet). The churros and potatoes were great, though, and the bottomless mimosa service was excellent! Overall our service was good once we were seated and the ambiance was great. They played nice music. Sometimes we had to elevate our voices to talk but not the whole time.

I wish I could give this place an honest fair review but I can't. I made a reservation on Saturday for Sunday at 1:30, at 12:00 noon I realized that I was probably going to be late so I called the restaurant to ask if I could push my 1:30 reservation to 2. They were so kind and gracious and were able to move my reservation to 2. While I was on my way there there was an accident and my GPS said I was going to arrived closer to 2:15 so I called the restaurant to let them know this. Again they were super kind and understanding and able to accommodate my change and informed us that the last seating for brunch is at 2:45. When I finally wasn't pulling up to the restaurant it was about 2:15. Due to me being late I parked in the garage right across the street instead of just looking for a free street parking. I get inside the restaurant The hostess and the manager who I had been speaking to her at the front and were super kind and greeted me and locked us to our seat. We sit down start looking at the menu and the server comes and greets us That's when he informs us that we can order brunch but bottomless drinks ended at 2. And I was taking a bath but then I was like okay well then can I get a drink menu. So I looked at the drink menu and a cocktail was $20 and I was like saying to my friend absolutely not. So I told the server that this makes no sense to me cuz it was never conveyed so he got the manager and the manager she was super apologetic but pretty much said that yeah bottomless ends at 2:00 and they're having like an event after if we want to stay. So I left. Because there was as many opportunities for The manager to have conveyed that bottomless ended at 2. So pay the $11 for parking for less than 30 minutes. I'm not going to say that the customer service was bad because everybody was polite and kind but not conveying something like that when DC's brunch culture is very much so on bottomless is what left a sour taste in my mouth.

I ordered chix waffles and truffle fries. The chicken is over fried and the color is almost black due to dirty oil the restaurant used to fry. The fries were all crumbled, only a few pieces as whole. I thought the price were pricey and the food quality is bad.

I came here once for happy hour and liked it enough to come back and did for a date night. This time though, I sat in the dining area away from the Glass House. The decor was very nice and the lighting was to my liking. My date also enjoyed the ambiance of the space and the lighting and said he'd also like to come back. Our food was good. I ordered the grilled octopus. The yuca looked charred but when bitten into I didn't taste any char. The drinks were good too - I'm a snob about Old Fashion's and their Old Fashion went down so smooth and rich I ordered a second. Our service was okay too. The waiter was pleasant and offered recommendations when asked about the food before we ordered but after some time she checked in on us less and less. It wasn't noticeable though until it came time for us to pay for our experience. I'd still recommend this place and plan on going back myself too.

I did not dine, but it's a very beautiful place to sit at the bar and have a fun drink. Love the

Cute restaurant with mediocre food and horrible service. And they charge a 22% gratuity on all checks for HORRIBLE service. I will never be back.

Our main server was pretty inattentive. Never got a refill of water once we got our food. The food itself was good, but it's a pretty basic brunch menu. The service charge of 22% for the dining experience felt a bit steep.

Dirty Habit is by far my favorite restaurant in DC. The ambience is both chic and modern while also somehow feeling like it’s run by a family. I always tell people that Dirty Habit is an experience that engages all five senses. The atmosphere is modern and eclectic and lively without being loud or raucous or overwhelming. The smells alone of some of their drinks passing by and the burning candles add such a beautiful sensuality to the place. Anthony, the chef, is so thoughtful and thorough; he paints the most beautiful pictures with how he describes and presents the food, it is a perfect example of how sight and taste in tandem can vault an experience to ecstatic levels. Every bite of that duck dish with their (Oregon) Pinot Noir is literally the epitome of a piece of heaven, of self-care and luxury for me. Pauline is an expert sommelier. I can recognize the difference of being upsold for the sake of being upsold vs. a genuine direction towards a better experience and that’s what Pauline gifts to guests - she genuinely understands what you’re looking for and wants to help you get there. JR and Willie are such prevalent managing forces I feel so unbelievably welcome and special and they are committed to the magic that dining out can gift people of a moment of communing with someone or with yourself or with strangers and I know I’m gushing but I mean it when I say I don’t have the $$ to afford to go out all the time but when I do want to go somewhere special or take someone somewhere special I know that Dirty Habit guarantees that warm full-body feeling you get when you’ve been taken care of from start to finish. I want to call out all the servers by name but genuinely, anyone you sit with will take care of you, whether they’ve started yesterday or been there for years you can sense the experience and knowledge and earnestness/commitment to care. Love love love to the whole Dirty Habit team, you’ll see me again and again for as long as I live in DC.

My wife and I enjoyed dinner with you all......my wife had the Amish chicken, and I had the steak frites and we loved both.....it was also great our waitress let us sample two wines.... really liked that. Wine was excellent. Ambiance was great. Our waitress was fantastic.....she was very knowledgeable of the menu. We are from NC, and we will definitely come back. Thank you.

It was very hip and chic, but we found it overpriced and noisy. We shared a bread for a starter (three little rolls and butter for $10), my husband had steak frites and I had the cauliflower (which had a lovely sauce but was served with a nutty but bland grain on the side) with a side of broccolini (delicious). The bill came to $130, and we didn't even have drinks. A generous gratuity was included, which was fine, but my husband still felt compelled to tip.

Wow, so glad that I decided to come here for breakfast I have never had a french toast before - and literally, this one was to die for!! So good, I can’t even describe! Latte tasted great, especially along with the churros and chocolate sauce omg ?☕️ The shakshuka was also much much better from other places I’ve tried, they serve it with lots of pulled meat instead (probably pork), and poached egg, also the potatoes on a side - delicious!! Also, a special thank you to a hostess working this morning - excellent customer service, kind, attentive and welcoming, made my morning! ❤️Parking: Sundays - street parking is free in DC, also plenty of garages within a couple of blocks

Excellent dining experience and perfect time to visit with my cherry blossom bloom trip to DC. The restaurant and bar also had a Sakura theme and a special menu. For cocktails, we decided to try the Nocturnal Blossom with Mezcal, Calpico, Yuzu and Black Sesame. It was wild how the cocktail had a sesame scent as you brought it to your nose but not a strong flavor in the sip. The Mezcal was nice and smoky without being too strong. We shared the Braised Wagyu Oxtail and Burrata as starters and had the Amish Chicken and Halibut for entrees. All dishes were so tender. You could savor the time put in to making these dishes. For dessert, we shared the Make A Wish cake which comes with a candle. We all made a wish ? Perfect evening after a day of exploring the cherry blossoms ?

The restaurant was BEAUTIFUL...definitely insta worthy location. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food left something to be desired though. The appetizers were really good (red endive salad & braised wagyu oxtail). I could've licked the plate with the oxtail. I wish there was more oxtail in the dish though. The entrees,on the other hand (I tasted everyone's at the table), were not the best. I ordered halibut which, initially, was flavorful in that I could taste the lemon, but as I continued eating there was no seasoning whatsoever. My bff ordered salmon and couldn't cut through the top layer with her knife. The fish itself was bland. My other friend ordered steak frites & it was just ok. It was disappointing since it was the last dinner of my birthday weekend in the area and leading up to this restaurant, every place that we ate at did a phenomenal job with the food. I'd go back but only for apps, drinks, & pics.

Wonderful meal from Oxtail appetizer to the duck, and lamb shank dinner; not to mention a special Cherry Blossom inspired dessert. Everything was prepared with care and attention to detail. The drinks are also of special note. The Man of steel cocktail was a special surprise. I've had other smoked whiskey drinks, but this was the best. The meal was quite expensive for the two of us but, if you're prepared to spend this is definitely a place worth eating at.

We heard the atmosphere and food were unique. While this was certainly true, only the atmosphere was uniquely delightful. The menu was trying too hard. I have some food sensitivities so I expect to ask a few questions of the waiter. But I have never had to ask so many. We eat ethnic food regularly and in cities around the world. many of the flavor combinations were a simple “pass”. Then when the food arrived, my husband's duck was tepid and my Amish Chicken ( with truffle brioche? How is that Amish?) was over cooked and over salted ( and I love salt). The desserts were disappointing- the Pumpkin Daji absolutely beautiful, but also mushroom confection was dry and tasteless. Our waiter was great. The decor for cherry blossom time was a nice contrast with the industrial vibe. I would only recommend for a cool after work drink.
