Dolce Vita Coastal Mediterranean Cuisine

My friends and I went to Dolce Vita to celebrate my friend’s birthday , and the food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented! We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and all of them were fantastic. The cocktails were also super tasty.

However, we were a bit disappointed with the service. The staff came to our table at odd times, and when we needed them, our waiter was hard to find. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, it was frustrating not being able to get assistance promptly.

On a positive note, Dolce Vita is located in a great spot on 14th Street, making it easy to reach and adding to its appeal.

Overall, Dolce Vita impressed us with its incredible food quality and presentation. With some improvement in service timing and availability, it could easily become a top dining choice.

Hi owner,my wife has left her purse there the week you guys temporarily closed. Can you please respond back so we can get the purse back? We have been trying to get a hold of you guys from all channel.

The food was delicious and the service professional and friendly, but not the cockroaches we witnessed climbing around the back of a serving cart. The manager came to look and she claimed that cockroaches and rats are “normal” when sitting on an outdoor patio and we need to get used to it. Really? On what planet?

Best meal during our entire US holiday! The mussel sauce was beautiful (a unique spicy tang - gorgeous). The creamy crab pie was so tasty and the crab certainly wasn't held back. You must try the duck-fat fries - the star of the show. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly, hospitable staff. Exceptional value. Thank you.

I'm sure I drove the place nuts as I kept adding people to my party up to the last minute but they didn't seem to mind. Table for 8, sat us the minute we got there. Great waiter, quick service but didn't rush us, friendly menu suggestions and best of all fabulous food. Very cool atmosphere too. I have no suggestions on how to improve!

One Star: LocationOne Star: hostess, prompt seating on the patio.- Star: slow service despite slow time & being the only people on the patio.- Star: The food was good but the salad had inedible dressing. No effort was made to replace it refund it, it was half the entree.The server said, "You're the second people to say that exact thing." Still didn't fix it.- Dessert: the Tiramisu just wasn't very good.The water was refilled quickly, which in the heat was essential. Curbside people watching was interesting but I wouldn't go back.

Great food, really good atmosphere, and friendly staff. The only negative thing was the horrible music that was too loud, even with that being said, I still recommend trying them!

My friend and I had brunch today and it was one of the best brunches I’ve ever had! Our server Gabe was great…super service, excellent food and great atmosphere along with a jazz band that was performing during brunch.

Beyond the exceptional culinary experience courtesy of an amazing chef, the entire staff here is amazing. From the front-of-house to the bartenders to the kitchen experts, this place rocks!

Delicious brunch! Not a ton of options and I would have liked a brunch beverage menu (not necessarily cocktails, just like anything besides the bottomless). But it was very good!

Food is Mid but the drinks and atmosphere I guess made up for it? Typical DC fare

5 stars for sure! The restaurant is sexy, well designed and decorated. It is a great place if you want to enjoy ambient, romantic lighting with good music on background. Overall The vibe and atmosphere is good. The staff are very kind and polite and patient which we appreciate. We didn’t order drinks but they looked very tasty on other tables. The food is sexy and delicious too! It is one of the best affordable but classy places for date night! When you go there with your partner you will enjoy your date night for sure!

Update: another review for their brunch and another 5stats! This is now one of our go to place! Staff are so friendly, polite and kind! Brunch is light and delicious!

Been here for brunch two previous times and was good. This time…mimosas were all OJ. Food was subpar. Bacon….cold.
