We made these reservations, not realizing that this was a vegan restaurant. We tend to pick restaurants that serve great steaks. We almost left when we found out it was vegan, but we are so happy we stayed. It was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious and each course looked like a piece of art. At the end of the meal, we felt full, but not overly stuffed . The dessert was a refreshing finish. We will definitely be coming back when we visit DC again!

Elizabeth, the restaurant is delightful as is Elizabeth the proprietor. This is one of my go to places for celebrations where you can actually have a conversation. I recommend a table by the window.

Outstanding fine dining, you wouldn't know or care that it's vegan! For all food lovers should visit this amazing establishment. We celebrated a retirement here and couldn't be more happy from service to food to ambiance.

Perfection. To say the food is incredible is an understatement. The creativity and beauty of the dishes is incredible. The flavors amaze the palette. Wonderful exploration of wines and Elizabeth is just lovely. Michelin star equivalent for sure. Thank you for creating a beautiful anniversary dinner again this year!!!!

Only the $110 tasting menu is available. Tapas style. Interesting menu items. Nothing available for a non-vegan. Not even a salad. Wine selection is marginal.

As a first-timer and solo diner, I cannot speak highly enough about my experience! I decided to splurge and add both the caviar and the cheese plate, as well as the Elizabeth wine pairing, in addition to the Prix fixe Menu. The hostess, Lindsay, was very friendly. My server, Sophie, was super nice and the perfect level of attentive (without bordering on intrusive), and the wine sommelier, Emma, was knowledgeable and kept it fun as I moved through the pairings. Thanks to Elizabeth and staff for a luxurious evening!

It's always a joy to visit this exquisite restaurant when I am in Washington, DC. The food is phenomenal, and the staff are exceptional. If you have never dined here, you are truly missing out on a remarkable experience.

As someone who isn't vegan (at least not yet), I found it absolutely worth it to enjoy an evening filled with class and creativity. Each dish came with a story and was beautifully presented. I've already referred others, and they've loved it too! Easily one of the best dining experiences in the DC area.

I am very much of an omnivore, who loves a good rare steak and muses at the zoo about what the animals might taste like. So, when I took my vege/pescatarian daughter there for a nice dinner, I wasn't expecting much. I was so wrong. Elizabeth's is wonderful. The tasting menu is exquisite and flavour and texture forward. The servings were beautiful and inventive. It is high end vegan cuisine that anyone who appreciates good food will love. The plates were reminiscent of a vegan version of those created by Ollie Dabbous at Hide in London and equally flavoursome.

Great meal- only thing missing was Elizabeth herself and the kale chips. Will definitely return soon.
