The evening was spectacular. Elizabeth is the consummate host. The staff was amazing, helpful, descriptive with all dishes, attentive, friendly, your guide to the evening.
We are not fancy people, but for our anniversary we wanted to splurge. The food was amazing, but the service really made the experience. The dining room is decorated like a Victorian boudoir with beautiful art and romantic lighting. I was so nervous that we would stick out, but no one treated us like we were out of place. Every dish was paraded out and placed delicately in front of us; I honestly felt like a foreign dignitary. If you have any dietary restrictions at all, Elizabeth's is the place for you. If you want to feel like a judge on a Food Network show, Elizabeth's is the place for you. If you are a mixology nerd or a hipster foodie, Elizabeth's is the place for you.
Elizabeth's is one of the finest restaurants I have eaten at. It compares to some of best restaurants in the country. Yes, it is vegan! The house cheeses and appetizers were some of our favorites The desert was wonderful. Some of best service I have received and the setting is wonderful. Not too noisy and very easy to converse with our party. Food everywhere has risen in price, but this milestone birthday celebration was worth it.
Wow, this place is amazing. Everything was great. Whether you're a vegetarian or not, this is a place to go to treat yourself to flavors, combinations and culinary experiences that are as unique as they are delicious. Let them know if you are gluten-free or have any allergies and they will create something that might be even more special than the main tasting menu. Truly, this was one of most memorable restaurants we've visited in a long time.
We eat elizabeth's every time we come to DC. Food is always interesting, unusual and delicious. A class act all around.
Fine dining in a refined classical setting. Quiet dining room! You can carry on a conversation with your table mates without shouting! As an omnivore I was pleasantly surprised at the creativity and deliciousness of the all-vegan menu. Wonderful cocktails, very nice wine list with a knowledgeable and helpful sommelier.
What a spectacular meal! Creative, tasty, and endlessly surprising. The hearts of palm was the best we've ever tasted! And the WINE: interesting and beautifully paired. One of our DC favorites in a sublimely decorated townhouse.
It felt like being welcomed into someone's home and lavished with an unexpectedly fabulous meal. Every single course was a joy and a revelation. An absolute gem of an experience.
I decided to celebrate my birthday at Elizabeth's, and from the moment I walked in until the moment I left, I truly felt celebrated. Every detail was intentional, from the curated courses to thoughtful add-ons. The service was also warm and attentive, elevating the experience even more. I left with a personalized menu that read “Happy Birthday, Chy'na” which was just the perfect (and sweetest) finishing touch. Every element, from the ambiance to the plating, was executed with such care and precision. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Elizabeth's.
Excellent atmosphere and presentation. Food was very good, but not quite the level I expected. Don't get me wrong. The food was very good. Just not fantastic. I would definitely return and temper my expectations.

We found this spot on Google & as WFPB eaters, decided to try it. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious & a good mix. We enjoyed the presentation & our wait staff did a phenomenal job! The interior & exterior was pleasing to the eye. We enjoyed everything about our time in DC & my wife said the dinner here was one of her best memories.
I absolutely love Elizabeth’s! I went last week for their happy hour and had the best time - with only $8 dirty martinis (my favorite drink) and $15 vegan caviar blinis, I felt like I was living lavish. I will be back!

HIGHLY underwhelming food - especially for the price point. Would not recommend. I think two stars is generous.

plant-based tasting menu was a true work of art — every dish was beautifully plated with stunning presentation, almost too pretty to eat. The flavors were thoughtful and creative, showing how elegant and exciting plant-based dining can be.
