Extremely Disappointing Experience! My recent visit to Elizabeth’s Gone Raw (EGR) turned into an absolute nightmare. After dining at this restaurant on Valentine’s Day weekend, my husband and I fell seriously ill with severe food poisoning, requiring an ambulance, drips, and a three-day stay in bed. This incident, undoubtedly caused by our meal at EGR, not only ruined our long-awaited celebration but also posed a serious health risk. We are deeply disappointed and questioning whether this restaurant is infested with rats or what. This experience was not only unpleasant but also potentially life-threatening, and I feel compelled to share our unfortunate encounter with others after debating whether to post this belated review. I truly regret not believing other people’s negative reviews about their food poisoning experience at this restaurant, but I hope others take my pictures and near death experience as the final straw that broke the camel’s back warning to stay absolutely 10000 miles away from Elizabeth’s Gone Raw. Don’t let this restaurant serve your last meal in this life!

This night was not a great night. It looked like they were either understaffed or something behind the scenes had gone wrong. Having been to Elizabeths before i can say on most occasions the service and food is second to none unfortunately this reservation suffered. Overall, the food was great but service was extremely delayed.

This is the most beautiful dining experience I have ever had, vegan or nonvegan. My friend and I were not rushed and enjoyed talking to the som and waiter so much about the dishes which were incredibly elegant but not pretentious. A rare venue where you can still wear a cocktail dress and have a truly special evening out. Incredible!

The whole experience was amazing. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was so lovely. And the staff were welcoming and did a wonderful job of making us feel special. Will absolutely return.

Dishes were very hit or miss. Our first two courses were incredible--a broth that challenged what I thought possible for a vegan broth, and a potato and nutritional yeast arancini that blew us out of the water. After that, however things went pretty quickly downhill. Next was a pasta dish that was difficult (logistically) to eat and pretty bland despite being packed with truffles. Then came a decent palate cleanser in the form of a great sauce with an under-flavored sorbet. Next up was the main course--a course that had interesting textures but was way, way too sweet. Finally, we had a perfectly delicious dessert ruined by the incredibly unbalanced sauce it sat in. The wine pairings were generally quite good, except for the main. Eating what tasted like pure sugar made it pretty difficult to go back to red wine without it tasting pretty unpalatable, unfortunately. Service was very attentive and punctual. Our only complaint would be that we were put into a bench seat that faced every other diner in a small room with a handful of other tables (like the bride and groom at a small, intimate wedding populated entirely by strangers). The table had to be pushed in so we could reach the table after sitting, and we were never actually let out. After paying our bill, we awkwardly shimmied the table out so we could head out for the night. Sidenote: the caviar mimic being served in what looked to be a fishbowl seems odd and quite disrespectful for a vegan restaurant.

Wonderful 20th anniversary celebration. Elizabeth went above and beyond to make our evening so special. The food was amazing and the wine pairing fantastic. Definitely will be back.

I had been wanting to come here forever and finally made it. Now I cannot wait to return for every seasonal menu. The food and the service and the wine were absolutely fantastic and the service was phenomenal and the setting is so beautiful. Elizabeth has created something truly special. Each couple split a wine pairing which was perfect and the wine was excellentDietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian

Met up with a group of friends before an event. Didn’t wait too long for a table. They were also very accommodating to the fact that some of our friends were arriving late and willing to let us hold off on ordering.

I wish I could give 10 stars to this charming, delightful and delicious restaurant. The service, food and wine pairings always exceed my expectations. PLUS, it’s like dining in a jewelry box from a bygone era!

Went to Elizabeth’s for the first time to celebrate my birthday. It was an amazing experience! The place is so nice and romantic, and service was excellent from start to end, including our waiter, Elizabeth herself, and the sommelier. We ordered the caviar and it was delicious, definitely worth the add-on! The menu was well-constructed and all of the dishes were so good by themselves and as a whole. The potato dish was so flavorful and yet so comforting, the truffle pasta was delicious, and the main course was surprising. We didn’t go with the pairing as I often feel like it’s too much wine for me, but I was happy to see that they have a half pairing option.I’m always excited to see a vegan fine dining place that’s so good and with a good crowd there! I’d happily bring by non-vegetarian friends here and I’m sure they would love it!The only downside worth mentioning is that although I was full by the end of the meal, my partner was still hungry (and we had ordered the caviar in addition to the prix fixe)

Great ambience and good service. Good experience with sub par taste. While the dishes were visually appealing and presented with care, the flavors fell short of expectations. The menu seemed to play it safe, offering peculiar flavors rather than pushing the boundaries of plant-based cooking.

Elizabeth was lovely and it was great to have her attend to us. The food was outstanding. The culture seemed disingenuous and had a whiff of pseudo-intellectual insincerity. The entree was a miss. Price was fair but didn't appreciate being upsold. Talked to down by hostess, luckily Elizabeth intervened. If you're part of the political conservative elite and you want to be seen as trendy you would like and enjoy this environment, even if not to appreciate the food.
