Stopped in for pizza the night before the Rock n Roll half marathon and were quite happy with the choice. I saw a lot of other reviews citing service issues, but our experience was great from greeting to server to management. The food was solid. Started with a shareable Caesar salad that was a little overdressed for me, but I tend to like less dressing. Taste was great. We shared a regular size pizza which was just enough for 2. Good Detroit style with nice crispy cheese edges....
Closest thing to Detroit style pizza from the D. Love the NYC original location and this does a decent facsimile. Excellent Detroit pies and good wings. Very good drinks. Odd space and uncomfortable angles, but excellent staff and service with decent prices for DC. Recommend!
I go here as often as I can. Pizza is priced semi-appropriately, I gladly pay $23 for “The Miranda” which is approximately 6-8 slices. Honorable mentions: mozzarella sticks, Zia fries, and their garlic cheese bread. Everything, including cocktails is FIRE. Never have had a bad experience here and the service/staff are always fast and friendly.
