Okay so one, im a sauce girl, especially when it comes to sandwiches. And adding the bbq and the mumbo sauce to the Rueben took it to a whole another level!I don’t know if it was just a very good day, but it was one of the best vegan sandwiches I’ve had! And I don’t like seitan or fake meat of any kind so I was pleasantly surprised! The caramelized onions did it for me too.I also had the chocolate chip cookie and Cinnabon which I also enjoyed.The server was kind and service overall was great! Small space, diner feel. This is a great restaurant for vegans! The food is excellent, and they have a very wide selection of unique dishes. But the service is terrible. I've made six online orders on separate dates, and they've gotten five of them wrong. All five were missing items. The don't accept or return phone calls to improve, and emailing the manager didn't help either.

The food is pretty good, but I had awful service after waiting 10-15 minutes for a seat. I was sat in the back and the staff basically for got about me. I had to speak up multiple times to get someone's attention to order. Then the table sitting in front of me asked for a box, and the server was about to leave when to woman suggested she take my order. Eventually, two people checked on me and asked if I was okay and did I order. Once I got my food I was satisfied, but my waitress didn't check on me and I ended up having to go to the counter to request my check. Since I was using Apple Pay she had me scan before showing me the bill. Which I thought was weird, but I proceeded to check out and leave. Before I could leave my leave I ran into issues trying to navigate my stroller, because they turned a two-top into a three-top which interfered with the already small walkway. I think where you seat is important it's a small restaurant, but if you’re in the back its dark and easy to be forgotten.

If you would like to have a celebrity vegan baker grill you a Beyond Burger, Impossible Burger or Beyond Sausage for around $17.50 (fries, salad, etc...is extra) then this is the place for you.Space is small. Employees are friendly. Marbled rye bread on my $15 vegan corned beef sandwich was delicious. Mayonnaise on my sandwich missed the mark. Mustard would have been a much better pairing. Blueberry soda was amazing. My friend did not care for her chickpea entrée. Oh and the vegan brownie was dry.It will be impossible for me to return. Sticky Fingers Diner is beyond belief.

Had a very mixed experience here. The good: the food was excellent. Got the chickpea steak platter at lunchtime, a real comfort food stick-to-your-ribs delight -- a breaded seitan cutlet smothered in gravy with greens and roasted potatoes. Kept me happily full for the rest of the day. The bad: when I got the bill, I noticed I was overcharged $5.00 from the listed menu price. After some awkwardness at the cashier's, I got this fixed. Much as I loved the food, I'm uncomfortable giving my business to a place where "prices are subject to change if you don't watch our staff closely." If you go, check your bill carefully before paying.
Had the Chilaquiles with roasted potatoes. Large portion size. Well seasoned. Great service. Great finding good vegan foods in this city.

My husband and I loved this adorable vegan diner! Everything we ordered was great and the women working there we very kind and helpful as it was our first time there. We will definitely return on our next trip to the DC area!

Food was good. I had the blueberry pancakes. I loved the baklava cheese cake , but that chocolate chip cookie was THE BEST THING EVER CREATED!! I couldn't believe how soft it was to be vegan. I'll definitely stop by and get a cookie every time I'm in the area. Looking forward to trying more things and coming back.

It was perfect! This place is a must try. All the food was great. The cake was a little dry. I think the cookies and cream cake would have been better than the cookie dough cake, so I’ll probably get that one next time.
