We’ve been here a number of times and have always had a great meal. The ribs and pulled pork are always fall-off-the-bone delicious and flavorful. The staff are friendly and relaxed. Absolutely our go-to place for BBQ in DC.
Our group loved the burnt ends, ABT jalapeño poppers, pulled pork, sliced brisket sandwich, ribs, potato salad…everything was delicious. We especially loved PJ. I’d ask for bigger BBQ and mustard sauce containers, but that’s my only wish.

Collard greens and cole slaw were fabulous. The brisket was very tasty, but rather dry. It needs something to moisten it, or it needs to be monitored better wherever it’s stored for slicing.
Overall very happy. Would be absolutely incredible if the meat could be less...
