Cook was a better server than our server. You could count how many people were in here so it wasn’t busy enough for server to not refill water. Too simple. Meat was pretty good. Potato salad and corn bread amazing. Not TX BBQ but fair
The spot was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious! Me, my wife and 3 kids had lunch. It wasn't crowded. The only complaint was that there were several flies while eating, which is unsanitary and very annoying. Bartender/waiter were very nice and apologetic. Parking can be a little difficult.
We stopped for lunch before going to the zoo. We were the only people in the entire place for most of our meal. Service was good and quick. I had pulled pork and cornbread. The pork was good. The cornbread was more like pound cake unfortunately, which was disappointing. Overall, the meal was good.
