Well deserving of the recognition by Michelin's star award. Arguably, the best restaurant in DC metro area with a commitment to excellence in food, service, and atmosphere. The wine list is among best with older, approachable vintages.

Great experience.

Excellent experience. We are newer to the DC area, and can say that this was by far the best dining experience we have had and are looking forward to our next visit. The experience was amazing from start to finish. We got the 9 course tasting menu with wine pairing and want to relive the dinner again as soon as possible. The service was impeccable and warm. The people who work there take pride in everything they do and it shows. If you are looking for a world class experience in both food and service, look no further. Unsure how Fiola only commands one star when compared to other establishments in DC. Thank you to the team for hospitality, and we look forward to our next visit.

Dietary restrictions: Excellent at accommodating restrictions ahead of time or in person.

Kid-friendliness: Not great for kids.

While the service and ambience were excellent, food wise we found some items were more successful than others. The apple appetizer, the fish crudo and the pasta were unforgettable.
We chose the 5 plate menu and the amount of food was excessive.
Overall an outstanding meal.

By far, the best 1-star Michelin Restaurant we have been to. Our server Christopher made the night enjoyable by ensuring we understood everything that was brought to us. The food was breathtaking, and every bite was exploding with flavor that put a smile on your face every time. We had the 9 course dinner called the Il Viaggio “The Journey”

Parking: Used spot hero to reserve our spot, paid $22, and walked less than a block

Outstanding service! The best Italian restaurant I've experienced in the U.S. The ambiance is great as well. Did the tasting menu with the wine paring.

Fiola is the best restaurant I’ve been to in DC - and trust me, I’ve tried many. From the moment you walk in, you feel so welcomed and special. The entire staff is 10/10. We opted for the five course tasting menu and were blown away from the first bite. Every single part of this meal was exquisitely designed and perfected. The star of the show was the gnocchi - it was unforgettable. The tuna cruno was another standout. And who can forget the dessert? It was magical in every way.

On top of that, we found the wine list to be very expansive and were able to order wine from our favorite region in Sicily. The sommelier was very helpful!

The music at the restaurant also created a wonderful ambiance with selections by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and others. We lastly wanted to give a special thank you to Giuseppe who helped recreate the magic that we found in Sicily …in DC! His service went above and beyond and we couldn’t have been more happy to have celebrated our engagement at Fiola. We will be back…many many more times!

I had an incredible time at Fiola DC last night for date night! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with an elegant and refined ambiance. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure every detail of our experience was perfect.

The food was truly outstanding. Each dish was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor. The seasonal ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared, showcasing the creativity and skill of the kitchen. The pasta was a standout, perfectly cooked and balanced in flavor.

Overall, Fiola DC exceeded my expectations, making for a memorable and delightful evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in the city.

Utterly divine. Every bite is put together so well that you will be delighted by each one. I tried the 5 course menu. I didn't do the wine pairing. I opted for two cocktails. The Sicilia and a classic martini. I've attached pictures of each course. You will leave stuffed, but you won't care. I can't thank my waiter,Jacob, enough for a simply delightful evening.
