Honestly this was some of the worst food I've ever had
The best thing I ate all night was the free bread
The pasta was super undercooked and the flavor was bad
The chicken was insanely dry and a terrible sauce
Even the gelato was extremely bad not super creamy
I don't know how in the world this place is a Michelin star restaurant honestly any other restaurant would have tasted better
Zero out of 5 in my book
Thank God I didn't pay for it but seriously so bad they should be ashamed of themselves for serving this garbage food

Wonderful service and fantastic food.
This is one of the best Michelin experiences I’ve had in DC. It brings innovation to Italian food in ways I’ve never seen. The margherita risotto and deconstructed cannolis were fantastic and my favorites.
Wouldn’t hesitate to go back! They also helped celebrate my partner’s birthday and service was professional and easy to talk to.

I finally treated myself (and my partner) to dinner at Fiola, and I can honestly say—this was more than just a meal. It was a memory.
We started the evening at the bar, which is part of the experience, and honestly, I loved that. It helped ease us into the night with a lovely apéritif and a few small bites that set the tone perfectly—elegant but warm, detailed without being stiff.
We chose the 9-course tasting menu for our anniversary, and from the very first amuse-bouche to the last sweet bite of dessert, everything felt like it was crafted with heart and intention. I still think about that scallop—seared just right, sitting in a delicate olive oil and chili blend that made the whole dish sing. The lamb ravioli came in these beautiful little square parcels, almost too pretty to eat (but trust me, we did).
What stood out just as much as the food? The service. Every staff member we interacted with made us feel welcomed and seen. Our main server, Tony, somehow struck the perfect balance—attentive, kind, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. They even brought out a surprise dessert for our celebration, with a handwritten note from the chef. It's those little touches that make an experience feel personal.
The ambiance is romantic, intimate, and perfect for special moments. You’ll find couples on dates, friends reconnecting, and even solo diners enjoying a quiet, upscale evening. And if you're into wine—this place is a dream. Their collection is world-class, and the team really knows how to pair.
Pro Tip: After that kind of luxurious meal, I wanted to keep the night relaxed and elevated. So I swung by PullUpDC on the way home to grab some top-shelf flower. Their selection is always 🔥, and it was honestly the perfect way to wind down after a night like that. If you're into high-quality cannabis with great vibes, PullUpDC is the spot. Think of it as the Fiola of D.C.'s cannabis scene.
All in all, Fiola gave us an experience I’ll be recommending to anyone looking to celebrate, indulge, or just feel taken care of for a few hours. It’s not cheap, but if you’re going to splurge, let it be here.

Amazing!!! Pace yourself…the dessert was the best!! All the flavors were exceptional, and the service was wonderful. We sat for 4 hours and were never rushed. This is what the finest of fine dining should be!

Highly recommended! Absolutely love this wonderful restaurant, the service was impeccable with recommendations spot on, and the food is just a different level and an experience we throughly enjoyed while visiting Washington DC.
Reservations are absolute necessary, coming in Summer after a day of visiting the historical monuments is a nice way to wrap-up the evening and visit.

We had the 5 course tasting menu and cocktails. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. This is our second time here and will always be our first stop in DC.
The staff is amazing and the food is spectacular. This experience was beyond compare.

I’ve dined at many Michelin-starred and exceptional restaurants, but Fiola DC remains one of my absolute favorites. The flavors are unforgettable, the presentation is flawless, and the service is consistently world-class.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants — they had real professionals working there, and it was always a pleasure to come back. Unfortunately, things have changed. Now it seems like they’ve hired just anyone, with no experience or sense of customer service. I visited the place again yesterday for the second time recently, and it was another disappointment. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we waited far too long for both service and food. On top of that, during a previous visit, I was clearly on a phone call (which the waitress could see, as the phone was on her side), yet she still interrupted to take our order, showing no consideration at all. That kind of attitude and slow service are unacceptable. I have no desire to return anymore.

This is my favorite restaurant in DC. Came here a couple times, and the quality of food and service has been outstanding and consistent. Everything is delicate and delicious. We even got boxed desserts as gifts when we left. If I have to complain something, maybe it's the parking.
