Excellent fresh selection usually at least 5 types of salmon, Dover sole, grey sole, tuna etc. Friendly & helpful plus large selection of spices & condiments.
Freshest seafood by far. Great for sushi and ceviche. Way better than Whole Foods, giant etc.
This where I go when I want fish for guests and special occasions. It's more expensive but it's well worth it. Simply best of the catch, fresh, often with a fishmonger cleaning fish right there. Outdoes Whole Foods, and I think less expensive than Wegmans.
Great quality
Good selection of fresh quality seafood, helpful staff, great miscellaneous items to complete your recipe. Prices are not cheap but I thought appropriate for the quality and variety offered
We purchased 5 soft shell crabs for dinner that night. They were very tasty
Wonderful selection of gourmet products and fish and seafood. Got all the ingredients I needed for a delightful cioppino for 10!
For the prices you’d expect the freshest seafood and top drawer service but you’d be lucky to get either.
Seafood a step above WF, but that’s not saying much. Sometimes iffy, on edge of being smelly.
My last experience, I was waiting in front of the counter but the kid behind the counter served somebody who’d come into the store after I did, before serving me. As it happened the Asian owner came out (I’m told he’s Korean but don’t know for a fact because I’ve never asked him) and I complained about the service. Said “I don’t like that.” He just scowled at me. Not the first time I’ve seen him being disagreeable.
Have now crossed them off my list. But may try again if store changes ownership.
Wonderful service and great selection of seafood!
I like the Fishery Seafood Market, I made an overnight seafood order that was fresh and on time-those two acts of professionalism were encouraging, but the communication factor was off and it was hard to get information confirmed. -1 star!

Nice looking spot with good options but for $20/lb for farmed salmon (I normally pay $12/lb at Costco), I expect high quality. I have never seen blood and bruising like this. 1 star from me but my dog wanted to give a star since she gets to have it all.
Best fish market in the DC area!!!! Always super fresh and lots of choices.you have to pay more, but it is worth it, if you can afford it.
Nice service
