I like the Fishery Seafood Market, I made an overnight seafood order that was fresh and on time-those two acts of professionalism were encouraging, but the communication factor was off and it was hard to get information confirmed. -1 star!

Nice looking spot with good options but for $20/lb for farmed salmon (I normally pay $12/lb at Costco), I expect high quality. I have never seen blood and bruising like this. 1 star from me but my dog wanted to give a star since she gets to have it all.

Best fish market in the DC area!!!! Always super fresh and lots of choices.you have to pay more, but it is worth it, if you can afford it.

During lent we observe the no meat Friday tradition in the Catholic Church. As carnivores, that is a bit of a challenge for us. This year we found this market and it has gone really well for us, especially since they have several pre-cooked items so you don't have to do much preparation. So far we have tried the pre-cooked cocktail shrimp with their sauce and have found it super fresh and really good. The white fish salad was too salty for me but generally okay. My wife has gotten oysters, crab meat, lobster, and sardines. All were great. The prices are on the high side but the quality is way better than a safeway or giant and I think even better than whole foods. So if you can afford a little more to get better quality (I know that can be tough these days) I would recommend checking this place out.

I moved to town in the summer of 2021 and am thrilled to have discovered the Fishery Seafood Market. The quality of the fish here is outstanding. It is way better than Giant and Whole Foods... there is no comparison. I would also argue with some of the other posts here that it is really expensive but it is most definitely not more expensive than Whole Foods if you consider the quality. My husband and I eat a lot of fish and this is now my go-to spot!

Some might criticize the pricing at this store, but those that know quality premium never frozen seafood will know this is the place to go! For example, Almost all grocery store seafood markets take frozen shrimp and thaw them for display in the display case so you think it is fresh. You get what you pay for, so if you are seeking best value (units of happiness per dollar spent) this is my top choice! Gary F

Superb quality of the seafood merits the high prices, but I ding Fishery a star because of the pricing of their non-seafood items. I was shocked to find I'd paid $6 for a bundle of dill (whose price wasn't listed on the shelf) that would've cost less than half that anywhere else. Such gouging leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and makes me less likely to go back so quickly.
